Hi we are new to the group. We were wondering if anyone lives in Southern Fairfield County, CT? It would be great to set up a playdate/ meet up with a few Corgis.

There's been talk of a meetup Sat July 11th on the Boston Common. If anything gets finalized over in the Boston group, I'll post it here!

hi everyone just a quick update ... Lola's puppies will be available in about a month or so I have 2 sable/white boys, 2 sable/white girls and 2 tri black/white/tan girls available. I'm in CT but I'm willing to drive if it's not too far or your welcome to visit me at my home. The puppies DO NOT have docked tails. My email is magno7883@hotmail.com

Sorry for not getting something together for the Breakheart Reservation in May. I have not had the opportunity to check the area out. If some one else that know the location wants to plan a get together I think many people from Boston would be tempted to join us there. June

Another thing that I want to tell everyone is that smaller groups can be just as much fun. Sure it is great to see a large group herding each other but the small groups are sometimes a blessing. Don't hesitate to have a meet up with four or five corgis. Corgis know their own kind and interact instinctively.

Marie, we try to have a meetup about every month. We held one at Kingston dog park on may 3. If you get me your email address I can put you on my contact list for the next one.in June
.I dont think I would want to travel too far from this area to go to another corgi meetup. Most or our members are living within thirty miles or less.
Duchess is aging so I have to keep her from overdoing. If she were younger I would be more inclined to travel. My recommendation is come down and see what fun it can be and then if it proves that the group is more fun, start a group in your area. If you can get a few corgis together you will find a ton of other corgis around that want to join. Use Mycorgi to develop a Vermont group.

Christina, The dog park has been working out for us, it is handicap accessible. but I can see your concern for other breeds being a factor. We have other dogs there, and they can be a problem but the large breeds are usually pretty tolerant of the smaller dogs.
We may be going back to the beach for the fall and winter. If anyone can tell us some better meeting places we will consider them. June
