This beautiful corgi needs a home, I have Mike's cat when he travels or I would take him in a minute. Kitty does not like to be chased.

Cross your fingers I may have found a 2 yr old little corgi boy that really needs a new home. Hopefully the lady will call me back this evening.
thanks to everyone for the info and ideas!
Corgis N Critters has several Corgis in need of a home and many do get along with other dogs. http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/TX483.html
There are also a couple at Celtic Corgi Rescue in Choctaw, OK http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/OK306.html
The upcoming Corgi Celebration in Buda (Oct 27) is a C N C fundraiser and they usually have some of the adoptables there for meet n greet.
Great advice & ideas from eveyone, thank you! Ok, maybe not exactly a docile corgi but just not too much a super alpha one. :0) I had my best friend's little schnoodle dog for 4 days, he played with Gertie until they wore themselves out, when he went home Gertie was so sad for for afterwards. Thank you!
Tracy: I went to the Cogi feast last year. http://www.corgicelebration.com/ It was GREAT! Good price on hotels to go for a week-end. They also had adoptable Corgis. You can meet a lot of good people with Corgis and they may have some good connections. Also, I see on here every once a while some one will post about an adoption. I volunteer for the Lab Rescue. http://www.dfwlabrescue.org/ . I know I have 2 Corgis and lost my 2 labs this past 6 months... so..
Tracy, be very careful....I've had people ask me fo rre-homing fees of 600 or more, which is fine for an AKC dog, even a mismark or a fluffy, as long and they're healthy and you're willing, but ridiculous for a corgi mix or a dog in poor health.....NEVER agree to meet anyone in a parking lot, and insist that you see the parents if it's a puppy situation.....there's also a fair amount of dumping dogs who have significant behaviour problems. I'll look out for one for you in the Austin are as I'm there once a week or so......I've had a lovely dog from the Plano shelter, and fostered a dog that a vet asked me to take in Plano, so they are available from time to time.....one last question...are there any docile Corgis? :) (I think your doggie is a love, though.....)
My Zoey is #11 on that list! :)
Hi Tracy-- search Craigslist.. I've seen a few needing new homes on there lately under the "community section".
I'm looking to adopt a rescue Corgi, can be boy or girl, Cardigan or Pembroke, just want a mellow/docile corgi who will get along with my shy sweet Pembroke female. Seems I keep missing out with the Rescue groups, either they are already adopted or need to be only dog in the home. I'm in Plano, my pembroke is 5 and missing her sister we lost a year ago to illness. Suggestions? Thanks, Tracy & Gertie Sue
