Fun times tonight!! It was great to meet all of you, and Felix had a blast! For those of you whose dogs enjoyed our dog ice cream, here is the recipe:
Frosty Paws - Dog Ice Cream
32 oz. plain yogurt
1 banana, mashed
2 T peanut butter
2 T honey
Mix all ingredients in a blender. Pour into cups or ice cube trays and freeze. Serve as a summer treat!
A TON of fury fun!!
There were about 7 pemmies and two cardies -- There was an Emmie and an Emma, a Meeko and a Zoe, a Preston, a Roo and and ioan, and three whose names I promptly forgot (not for lack of cuteness, lol). There was a lot of chasing, lots of playing, and lots of petting. Can't wait to do it again!!
And for those who asked, the two farms in the area (and I say that loosely) are alomar farms in Van Alstyne and Endgate Ranch in Ennis. I have experience with Alomar; email me off list if you want my opinion. We train our dogs (agility) at paws in Rhome (30 m. NW of downtown fort worth), and we do tracking with our beagle at deed's canine connection. ioan is in the beginning tracking class now.
Preston can't wait for tomorrow...his first trip to the dog park! So exciting!
ioan and Roo are very excited to see the other corgis tomorrow night -- I've made a travel bag (water, poop bags, bug repellent, etc) and they are watching me intently to see when I'll say "in the car!!" We'll get there between 6:30 and 7 and stay until they run their little legs off. . .
