All corgi lovers, check out Youtube Welsh Corgi Fights With Doorstop. It is very cute and a very cute pup.
Hi Everyone! I agree! I adore my two Corgis. They are amazing. Would love to see photos of your dogs.We have been having the best hikes in Tahoe. These dogs are troopers! Up mountain trails no problem. With lots of stops to splash in the creeks and lakes they can go 3 hours 4.5 miles no problem. Lol I get tired before they do. I am seriously thinking of doing a two night backpack trip around Marlett Lake this summer with them. Only going 4 or 5 miles a day. Any one else try this with their Corgis? I think I should set up the tent in the back yard first and see how it goes.
I love her name! She is so so cute! I can't comment on the food too much. We are constantly adjusting their portions; more for one (needs a little more weight), less for another (looking a little tubular) then it changes again. Also my husband makes our dogs food fresh. I come home from work and I think "oooh something smells good", but it is the dog's food. LOL
Awww so happy for Cadi! Brody was like that when he was little, the "Bunny ways are adorable! Enjoy it while you can! and take lots of photos... Brody grew like a weed!
I feed Brody 1cup dry and 1/4cup wet... but we are changing to a grain free food... so he'll be on solid dry soon...
How much you feed your pup also depends on her activity....brody is hyper...so he 2cups a day (he's five months)
Well, there is no way I can let my corgis free feed, they would eat a 50 pound bag of dog food immediately. I also find that the instructions on the bags of food call for way too much. I would check witth you vet and see what he recommends. For my adult corgis they get a 1/2 cup of good kibble mixed with about a 1/4 can of wet food twice a day.
We named her Cadbury (Cadi for short) since she reminds us ALOT of a bunny. bunny butt, bunny ears, and she runs like a bunny (we have somewhat tall grass in the backyard). Quick question for everyone, Kim said she has the puppies on an "all you can eat" because they usually only nibble here and there, but how much do you guys feed your new puppies? Cadi usually gobbles down the food I give her so I don't feel comfortable leaving food out 24/7.
