It's like having any new baby in the house. I do this with my newborn pups also, I mean sleeping with my ears open to any new/strange noises I may hear. I get up and check if something sounds out of the ordinary so this is very normal I believe and you'll get used to the normal verses the abnormal noises in a week or two! Enjoy that new bundle and be glad you don't have newborns for 10 weeks that's even harder!

Thanks, Jane! Yes, I'm loving every minute of it. So many similarities to human babies! I can't imagine taking care of newborn pups...I'm sure it is a lot of fun, though.

At least babies wear diapers! Rafa's finally potty trained but rarely naps...just looks for mischief. I just walked into the breakfast area and was greeted by piles of foam. I wish I took a picture. It was quite a site. Rafa ripped out the entire inside of a chair.

Yes, that is a big advantage with human babies -- diapers!! I have a picture in my head of the big pile of fluff that Rafa created! Funny!

Newborns are awesome and I get to enjoy the births and all the 1st's! It's like a 2nd full time job but in the few short weeks I have them they go from helpless tiny creatures to opening their eyes to stumbling then walking and running and of coarse barking and playing! It's amazing! I could sit and watch them all day!!!!

You're so lucky. I've never been with newborn corgis or even corgis younger than 8 wks.
