Sorry for the long absence. I've been sick, injured, and busier than a one-armed paper hanger trying to catch up on my work. I'm also sad to report that our beloved leader June (Milo's mom) has moved to Florida, so she asked me to step in and moderate, so I'll try to fill her shoes as best as I can.
That being said, is anyone up for a meet-up? And if so, where would you like to meet? Some concerns about the cramped quarters at Togs for Dogs have been raised, so maybe there is another dog park that is more centrally located that everyone would prefer. Does anyone know of a nice one with shade? I think for the summer, we would need to make it an early morning as well, like 7 or 8am. I'm open to suggestions.
I am not available this weekend but please post when the next get together will be at Togs and Dogs. Pinot and I would love to come
...or if you're free today, we could still meet at Togs for Dogs later this morning.
Welcome Jennifer! We have been getting together every month at Togs for Dogs on Green Valley Rd. in El Dorado Hills, but they are having grand opening stuff all weekend, so their park isn't available. I was thinking about having a get-together at Folsom Dog Park -- maybe this Saturday or Sunday, if anyone is interested?
New to the Sacramento Area and have a 2 year old Corgi, Pinot. Would love to meet other Corgi's and Corgi lovers! Any plans for another Meetup this Summer?
when is the next meetup at togs?
Linda,
Yes, I did a satellite view of the park on Google, and there is a handicap access ramp, although it's on the far corner of the park. But there is a nice, concrete path and area under a pavilion, as well as picnic tables and benches.
