FYI post from a Sacramento corgi re: decomposed granite at local dog parks (namely Sutter's Landing). Fortunately Wyatt is on the mend.
I've posted an event to "play it again" at Togs this Sunday. Last time was so much fun, but cut short by the rain. It looks like the weather will be much more cooperative this time. Hope y'all can come out and play!
Hi gang! We had so much fun at the meetup at Togs on the 22nd we decided to make it monthly as well. Anybody up for doing the 2nd Sunday of the month (so we don't conflict with Kristin Honey & Hooch)? That would make the next one the 8th.
I think I will, thanks for the suggestion! :)
Kristin Honey & Hooch: you may think about posting this on the Events area off the MyCorgi main page. That way all members will see it - you might even get some folks from the Bay Area - you just never know who's visiting or driving through. Let us know how it goes - take pictures and post here - it'll be fun to see.
Kristin Honey & Hooch: I love an excuse to go to Grass Valley! My daughter is home from college this weekend (technically, Farris is herdog, and she's the one who converted me to Corgiism), and I'm sure she would love to come along.
I don't know if anyone is close enough, but my friends and I are starting a corgi meet-up at the Grass Valley Dog Park. It'll be the 1st, 3rd, and 5th (if there is one) Sundays of each month, from 1 PM until whenever. Please feel free to join us if you'd like! All corgis, corgi mixes, and corgi appreciators are welcome!
(Hah! Just discovered I could change my display name...)
You're reading my mind...my name is June BTW. Are you related to Gordon Reid, by chance?
