For MANY years, Corgis have had their tails docked* at birth due to a long tradition. The Nub Club is here to bring attention to the Nubs of the Corgi world and recognize the still "wagging" happiness of Corgis and their tails. So rejoice and join, knowing that you are not the only lover of the extremely short Corgi tail!

Ive been a corgi owner since July, and I've never fallen in love with something as quickly as I have with the nub butts! I love these little guys!

I have two corgis that I believe have natural bob tails, theres nothing there. I just love their bunny butts

They say the docked tail on a Corgi was for them not be confused w/a fox while out in the field. Others say for it not to be injured. Realistically the reason for a docked tail was that some litter mates were natural bob tails so to have more uniformity they docked any corgi w/a tail. In the UK today since docking of the tail is illegal unless done by a veterinarian, breeders are trying to breed for the more natural bob tail again.
