I thought it was going to be, I have always been terridied of "scary" movies, I have never seen any horror movies. But it wasn't too bad and the books weren't either. It is not a "bloody" series. I was very skeptical, now I have seen movie 2x & read book

OK, the truth is, we are only in this group because my daughter loves the books. I saw the movie and I thought it was sort of scary!!!

alright now I am going to reread it. I am out of new books to read and that is the only one of my "old" books that sounds good. Must be the movie coming out in a couple weeks......

I was gonna reread Twilight but decided to rerent movie. It is interesting watching it now that I have read the book.

I really think Kristin can pull it off! I'm hoping they change her look accordingly, the book describes it as if she was meant to be a vampire all of her life so I'm hoping she'll look like she's come into her own.
I had read that something that Rachel(Victoria) had breeched her contract by working on another movie at the same time as New Moon was being filmed, but I don't know for sure! I was disappointed that she would not be playing the part again, but at least there is a break in her appearance for New Moon so maybe by the time we see Eclipse it won't matter so much won't know for sure til I see Bryce in the role!
I wished there would have been more background information given about the Volturi, I mean I know they gave details about the main ones Aro etc, but I really think Stephanie Meyer could've gone a lot more into that and even could've spun a whole book about Carlisle's experiences with them leading up to how he broke away from them and started his own "clan" "family" introducing how Edward's first experiences with becoming a vampire really were! Guess I was looking for a little more character development in that area.....

I agree, and not just because I'm not wild about Kristen. She does grow a lot in the books and becomes a different person and I hope Kristen is going to be able to pull that off. It's especially hard to picture her in the last book where she needs to be more agile and "perfect". I guess we'll see.

I have a hard time picturing Kristin as Belle in the last two books/movies. I think that Belle is more mature in those books and Kristin just doesn't look the part of a mature young woman/mother that makes the decisions Belle does for her family.

I knew he would be back. My husband knew a lot about the story from having worked at Borders and running the Twilight release parties so he let a few things slip. I was a little mad when he told me about a couple major events from the last book, but I was glad to know that Edward was coming back after New Moon. I read through New Moon so fast just to get back to the vamps. :)

I saw that the third movie will have a new Victoria; Bryce Dallas Howard. Wonder why they switched. I like Bryce but for this role I think Rachelle is better. If anyone should be switched out I think it's Nikki Reed who plays Rosalie. She just doesn't seem to fit the character. The books describe her as being so gorgeous and I think they could have done better than Nikki. Maybe it's the blond hair, I don't know, but she just looks odd in the movie. She looks good in pictures I’ve seen of her with dark hair.

The thing I hate the most is that they switched the actress for Victoria. I like Rachel...she did such a great job and she's so beautiful too!

Man, I have such a long list of books I need to buy now.
