haha, new moon is definitely my least favorite book. When I read it for the first time, I had no idea what was going to happen, when Edward left, I had a semi freak out, and I kept on reading thinking he'd be back any page now...I couldn't take it anymore, and I actually googled when he was coming back. I was shocked since it was so late in the book...I flew through the chapters, and love the Italy parts. Made it all worth it :-)

Has anyone on here read Katie MacAlisters vampire books? I LOVE her two Dragon series' and have read a lot of her individual books, very funny lady.

I do like the Sookie series, or at least the one book I read so far lol, and I am excited to read the next one but it just doesn't seem to have the same "pizaz" ? for lack of a better word. Just not as exciting as Twilight series.

Very good point about the wolves. I thought that the preview I saw looked good. I too missed the vamps in New Moon so it was not my favorite either. I think the toughest part will be waiting for the NEXT movie. I want to see them all now back to back lol!

Every time I glance at the comments and see Alice I think someone is talking to me. LOL. It keeps throwing me off!

Anyway, I'm excited for the Italy scene too. New Moon was not my favorite book (I had vampire withdrawals) but the ending made it all worthwhile. Talk about suspense!

I've heard a lot of negative comments about the wolves but from what I've seen in the previews I don't think they look bad at all. What other option did they have? They could use real wolves but they would not be large enough.

I like the CG wolves. They are even better than i imagined them while reading the books. My husband and I are going with some friends to a midnight showing. I don't care if I have to work the next day!
I loooove the Sookie Stackhouse series! I have only read the ones that are in paperback so far.

2 weeks till the movie :-) I am so excited. Can't wait for Alice in Italy, and the whole ending scene when they go to the Volturi :-)
I am planing on bringing an entire box of tissues, and will be crying a lot :-)

I hadn't seen a advert for the movie until last week, now that I am seeing them more often I am getting more excited about it. I can't wait for the part at the end. I like the idea of the wolves and the effects look cool but def want to see the vamp part.

I agree that the Twilight series is better but I enjoy the Sookie Stackhouse series too.

They could have kept his accent. He is a vampire that is many, many years old so why would it be unbelievable for him to have an accent. Just because it doesn't say he has a British accent in the books doesn't mean he can't have one in the movies.

I'm excited to see how the Volturi are portrayed in the movie. I do like the way Dakota looks as Jane.

I thought vamps were suppused to have accents? lol. anyhoo, I liked the book but I like the Twighlight books better. I am going to see if the library has the next one on the series. they are ones I will read but so far don't have the urge to buy to read.
