I saw the movie on Friday and loved it. I thought they did an outstanding job of sticking to the story line of the book. Better than the first!

going this afternoon with the hubby! I can't wait. I want to go to the 12:15 show. it is so windy here today that can't do anything outside anyway and I don't want to clean house.

I still haven't seen it. My plans of seeing it today were ruined because I've felt sick all day and have not left the couch until now. Tomorrow we are having Thanksgiving dinner at my Mom's so the new plan is tt osee it on Wednesday since everyone is off on Thursday. I hate reading what all of you thought about the movie and not being able to give my opinion. It's ok, just a few more days!

Hey all! I just read the entire series in like 4 days...lol. Loved it!! I haven't gotten to see New Moon yet but it sounds like it's better than the first one. I hope so I was pretty disappointed with parts of it although I did still like it. I think I'm gonna put the series on my christmas list so I can read it anytime I want. I just finished it and already want to read it again..lol.

Going into these types of movies, I always prepare myself for disappointments. I mean, it's very unrealistic to expect that a 500+ page book will perfectly be transformed into a movie without changing or leaving certain things out. Despite this, I still thought the movie was great! I thought Kristen's acting was on par, and I really enjoyed most of the fight scenes. I do agree that they left way too much of the Volturi, but what they did show, I loved. I think it was definitely better than the first, and I'm super pumped for Eclipse, which we'll only have to wait until June for!

Saw it this afternoon! Also disappointed with the Volturi storyline being so short!! I really think they are missing the boat by leaving so much of that out! They are big in the last book and don't feel like they've developed them enough. Those were the best scenes of the whole movie for me!! I would've enjoyed seeing the struggle and conflict that Jacob feels about becoming a wolf handled a little differently. I mean, he was pretty afraid in the book about it all and I did'nt think he seemed scared or shook up enough about it!! Especially when Embry becomes one of Sams gang and Jacob's just like oh well??? He was pretty concerned about it in the book.
Don't get me wrong I'm a fan of the saga and enjoyed the movie, especially the humor they added to it, but still liked the books better so far......

I went to see it last night(go team Jasper!) and i really enjoyed the movie. there was like a mile long line to go see the movie, and that was already with people who purchased the tickets a while ago! and the highlight of the night was with Jacob. I believe his acting was amazing, and of course, Edward always looks constipated in the movie. Bella was good, she seemed very zombie on Twilight but in this one, she seemed more into the movie. the special effects were great, and i loved seeing Victoria...her red hair was gorgeous! on the downside, i feel that was not enough acting with the rest of the Cullens, except for Alice and Edward, and the rest of the Cullens said at the most 5 sentences( of course, it is focused on Bella but still, it was disappointing that it was ONLY BELLA)it was a very funny movie, and i wanted it to be more focused on the Volturi, but the whole thing only lasted for 5 minutes(with the fight and everything)IDK, that was my opinion. I really would like to see it again(even though there were tons of screaming teen-boppers) and analyze the movie. I enjoyed it very much!
