Let's get the LA corgis together on the westside!
(usually very well attended, every weekend even with rain and on holidays)

Notes:
1. Please freely set up your own meetup times! Common meetup locations include (all on the small dog side); Playa Vista's Obbereider Dog Park, Barrington Dogpark in Brentwood, Redondo Beach Dogpark.
2. Urge you all to join in with the current weekly meet up at the Redondo Beach Dog Park on Saturday & Sunday mornings from 8am-9am every week. It's on the small dog side but a large, grassy area. Ollie and I go every weekend and there's a great group of about 10-15 corgis (one day we hit 30+) and their people who consistently attend. A big plus is that everyone there is super friendly and helpful, and because it is early it is nice and cool for our furcoated-friends and leaves your day open for human playtime!
3. We will not be organizing meetups in Santa Monica as anyone who does not live in Santa Monica would be unable to meet there; you must be licensed in SM in addition to LA County in order to use the SM facilities, and this limits the corgis & people who could attend. Not worth risking it as it's a several hundred dollar fine and they actually have people at the park checking regularly.

Hi Priscilla! The El Segundo dog park doesn't have as much grass as it used to, but still lots of trees! The small dog park is a good size. Parking is easy. You can watch the planes come and go too. Our girls always enjoy it. We take the road behind the airport or even PCH to get there. Never much traffic that way. Hope to see you there sometime!

Hi Ginny. We have never been to the El Segundo Dog Park, I didnt even know one existed. How is that dog park? We are down in that area (the south bay) most weekends, since I have family there, so Ill definitely check it out.

Sorry for the short notice, but thought I would mention that we are heading up to El Segundo Dog Park with our girls + foster, today 1PM. If you are avoiding the WLA area and can make it to El Segundo, let's frap! We'll be in the small dog side.

We had a blast today at the Barrington Dog Park Meet-up! Phoebe, Yoli, Lilly and da hoomans, wish to thank everyone that helped make it such a great day for all...but most especially for Lilly, our foster pup! It was great to see everyone and very sweet to see sweet Stanley again, growing up! We hope that all the homeless Corgis have great days like today & find their wonderful new forever home! Thank you all and keep your fingers & paws crossed for sweet, little Lilly!

Ginny, thank you for organizing this fun meet-up. Lacey enjoyed meeting some new friends. It is great to know that Stanley got such a great home. I miss Lilly already!

We had nine corgis at the Barrington Dog Park today. With gentle breezes and a shade tree, the corgis had plenty of energy for dog tag and enjoyed just hanging out together.
