Hello everyone! Just wondering if anyone is going to the Mighty Texas Dog Walk this year? Toby and a fellow corgi friend will be attending wanted to see if we could get a corgi group together! =)

Join the Austin, Texas Corgi Meet Up Group!!!

This group is for Corgi addicts who want to meet local Corgis and their owners. Pembrokes, Cardigans, and mixes are all welcome! People interested in getting a Corgi are also welcome to join. Bring your short-legged babies to monthly meetups and other local doggie events, and let the herding begin!

There will be 3 meet ups happening on Oct. 15th, 22nd, and 29th.

Also anybody going to the 2011 Austin Pet Expo happening on Oct. 8th at the Travis County Exposition Center?

Monica- Your Corgi's remind me sooo much of mine!!! Now that the weather is nice I need to get mine out more. We live in Round Rock there is a great dog park right up the street. I haven't been to Red Bud Isle but have friends that go and love it. Is it near Zilker park?

Ashleigh- Red Bud Isle is my corgis favorite place to go! It's an island on the river and the whole thing is a dog park. It has lots of access to the water for wading or swimming on the hot summer days. Also Bar 96 down town is a fun dog friendly bar

Hello all! We're new to austin, and just starting to get used to the big city. Any tips for great corgi friendly places around town? :)

Started working corm home but having trouble getting Chula to leave me alone. Plus if I.m on the phone she won't stop barking. Very frustrating, especially when she picks out her loudest squeaky toy and goes at it nonstop. I've never had a dog before so I'm not sure what to do!!
