Mocha came into our lives shortly after our wedding back in 2002, we soon added Vienna to keep Mocha company.
Mocha graduated with a CGC and held the position of Ambassador in conduct with foreign canine relations. Mocha was diagnosed with Stage 5 Lymphoma in April, he crossed the rainbow bridge on July 30th 2012.
Vienna received her GED from petsmart university and served as Secretary of Defence in our Corgidom. Vienna was diagnosed with stage 5 Lymphoma in August 2012, she joined Mocha at the bridge just before the last day of the Mayan calendar - Dec 20th, 2012.
We continue to foster, rehab and place rescue corgis in need.
Thanks for visiting Bryson's blog! :) Yes, the San Francisco meet ups are always a riot, it'll be great if you guys can make it next year (May seems soooo far away though).
Hey there! Pistol is doing great with the newborn..he used to lay on my belly when I was pregnant and feel the baby move too! He's very protective of her...when she starts crying he comes to get us. :)
Hi, where is Viero, FL? My husband and I will be coming to central Florida with our two corgis to stay until April. It takes us two days since we live in the central part of Indiana. We just adopted Cinni and Gynx from Linda Moore and love them dearly already. We lost our 14 year-old Corgi, Patti Cake in September and were crushed by the loss. These little girls are therapy for us. I enjoy your photos.
Thanks, but we won't make it to Florida until after the first weekend in November. We live in an area called Sun Aire Country Club and are an hour south of Orlando. We are nine miles east of Winter Haven, so we are actually pretty close to you.
Thank you for inviting me! I love the concept behind this site, especially since corgis don't get enough exposure (in my opinion) compared to other breeds.
And thank you for stopping by my portfolio. Typically, I can complete a moderately-complex illustration within a couple of days. A project of several illustrations can take me from 4 days to two weeks, depending on specifications for them and non-art-related situations. If you ever have need of some, give me a holler and we can discuss details. :) Thank you for considering me!
hi sam,
soooo cool, i finally got hooked up with your group....corgi heaven!....
soo nice to hear you have been a fan of kaley corgi for a long time! she does get around, being on flickr, dogster, and being admin for several groups, dogster's, club corgi, flickr's, corgis of the world unite, etc.....do drop by now and then to www.sansanpups.com....fun and educational for pups, but i only have kaley corgi as the pup model! hehehe...
here it is, the youtube group that i started....club corgi....of course!
http://www.youtube.com/group/clubcorgi
it would be nice if you could get the members here to put their videos here,... there is nothing like seeing a corgi in action, even if it is just a video!
I am near the beach so safe thanks as is Robert who has a page here. But its like a war zone here and "Oh the humanity" as the saying goes. I feel very lucky this week. I just hope they can get a handle on it soon. Think good thoughts for Southern Cali!
Usually the local Corgi meetups are held in August, on or arounf the weekend of Hubby and my anniversary. Also, we have a toddler, and most Corgi meetups don't allow kids so we don't go up for the WA ones.
Thanks Sam. The pups and I are doing well. Fires are not too close to our home but the smoke is especially bad here today. Feel horrible for all of those who have lost their homes.
Sam, thanks for finding my blog and inviting me over! Gratuitous Corgi Pics are only 2 of the *ahem*... several gigabites of Corgi pics I've taken. How could you not photogaph those faces??
Erp left this comment on my own page, I realize I should have commented back to you - still gettin the hang of this new site!

Heya Sam, thanks for the invite! :) I've been doing freelance about a year (just long enough to now have enough stuff to put a book together, but not long enough to have gotten around to making that book lol!) , though I've been doing graphics/photos just for myself for like a decade now! I'm always interested in extra work, whatcha have in mind? I may forward you along to my fiancee who is far more skilled than me...he can draw and stuff. :) Most of the photos here are his, he's big into photography and Henry & I like having our picture taken. :)
This is such a nifty site, and I'm all excited to get in while it's still new so when we're as big as myspace I can say I've been around since the beginning. :D
Definitely will do in regards to my work, I'll send you some things asap!
And yep, I just read about the DFW meetup on here and we will certainly be attending. Thanks for the heads up, I'll be sure to spread the word about this site and take lots of photos to post here later! :)
Yes, I use Final Cut for work projects. I was planning on upgrading to Leopard this week. I hope it's as good as apple says. Have you upgraded yet or will you?
Hi Sam. Thanks for the welcome. I spent the first 10 years of my life in England although I was born in Singapore. We bought our 1st. Corgi in England (near Leeds). Named him Roger. Both my 2nd Corgi, Roy & 3rd Corgi, Ritz (present) were bought in Singapore but were imported from Australia. All 3 of them are red/white in colour. When I see a Corgi, it just warms my heart - that's how much I love Corgis. Unfortunately, there are no Corgi farms in Singapore unlike Australia.
Hi,
Yes, lived in England for 10 years - London, Leeds & Whitley Bay. Went over with my parents when I was just 5 months old! Dad bought me my 1st Corgi, Roger for my 9th birthday.
The Corgi population is not big in Singapore. Maybe it being of medium size is not approved by our HDB (Government flats). Only small and toys breeds are approved. Those who live in HDB flats need to apply a special licence to keep a Corgi there. Corgis are more expensive than other breeds so maybe that's why it's not so popular.
Thanks for the ideas! We've had a few orders and did fairly well at barktober fest. I have a lot more photos I need to put up on the site, but I've been so busy with finishing up my last semester of school. If you have any ideas on how to market more I'd appreciate it. Thanks!
sorry i have not written back its been busy tring to take care of family. i should be on line more linda is a life saver with fila she is my pride and joy.
thanks for the comment on my blog. it was nice to find a community site focused around corgi's - my gf and i love it :).. and btw there are treatments for grave's disease thankfully... it's a manageable disease but kathy will have to take medicine the rest of her life...
Hey Sam! What corgi picnic?? Is that the one at melbourne?? I heard of it.. but not sure where to find more info.
I may or may not go depending on how Faye is progressing. She just recently got spayed and her dew claws removed. The sutures are still there, so her activity is restricted.
KEep me posted!!!
Dear Sam, I always plan to go but unfortunately obligations once again will keep me from it. Our of our rescue volunteers will be there. Her name is Keri Smith. Be sure to make a point of meeting her. I am glad this event will hopefully earn some funds for Corgi Aid. The corgi community is so lucky to have such an organization. I know of many involved dogs in rescue organizations that have benefitted from their contributions. I am hoping too that Keri may evoke some interest in folks wishing to become involved in our Florida corgi rescue efforts. To date this year we have helped over 70 corgis find their new homes. Without our dedicated volunteers this would not be possible. I hope we meet some day. You sound like a true corgi lover.
Nope, no cold for us, we're out on the east end of Long Island, nicely protected from cooling temps well into November. We can harvest certain vegetables into Dec. It's really unusual, but makes for a nice long fall :)
