We lost our Corgi (Emmy) on October 12, 2007 to a rare Wild Animal Bacteria carried by infective Skunks and a few other animals. Emmy was only 7 years old when we lost her. She was loved by everyone, especially the kids, we always knew where she was when there were any kids around. She especially loved to play with anyone in the water.
Thank you for the add! I am so sorry for your loss. Emmy's beautiful, and I know she is greatly missed. My father lives in Manchester and we have a summer house on Suncook lake, maybe you know where that is? Good luck on your hunt for a new Corgi! Have a nice day
I feel so bad that you lost your sweet corgi. Tucker was diagnosed with cancer in December and I was so destroyed. I made the decision to amputate his leg and I still have him and he has really adjusted well. He'll be 7 in April so I hope to have him for many more years. Keep us posted when you get your new corgi!
Thanks for the add George, Emmy was a beautiful girl. I hope you find your perfect Corgi when the time is right. And I hope your surviving the weather out there. Cheers,
Kellee
Hi George and family. Emmy was really pretty. So sorry about her. If you read about me you know I'm not expected to live much past 2 years. The neurosurgeon is surprised I've made it this long. I can't see and can't learn to go pee outside, but I'm happy with my family. I'm just over a year old now! Did your other dog and cats get along with Emmy?
Our Akita only tolerates Roscoe. We'd love another Corgi
too. We had 2 beautiful Shiba Inu's but they got away from me on a Thanksgiving morning and 4 days later we found them on the RR tracks. God, I never thought I could love another animal, but here I am with 2 "special needs dogs". Take care friends. thanks. Talk to us any time.
so sorry about your loss. We have had Toby for a year now. He is an 8 yr old rescue. Lola has been with us since August 2007 and she will be 6, another rescue. We are so happy to give such sweet loving puppies a forever home. when the time is right look for a rescue group in your area. take care
hi! i'm sorry to hear about emmy. gixxie is not only my first corgi, but my first dog.. i can't imagine what i'd do if anything ever happened. but, good luck finding a new corgi, i know theres plenty of cute pups waiting for adoption!
I'm so sorry about Emmy... what a beautiful dog.
From the photos it looks like she had a great life! - though too short. I hope you find your next Corgi soon.
Thanks for the add George. Emmy looked like she was a real sweetie. We lost our Ki in January of this year so I know the pain you are going through right now. We were lucky enough to find a 5-1/2 y/o Corgi through rescue. We've only had him for a couple of weeks and he is already helping to heal the pain. It's just amazing how a these little 4-legged furballs steal your heart forever. Good luck in your search for another, the right one will come along when you least expect it.
I'm so sorry for your loss. It's so very hard to lose these little guys. I lost my sweet Coyote last August. I was a bit luckier, as I got to enjoy her for 18 years. Her YouTube tribute is here: http://youtube.com/user/nwcorgifan. I didn't have the right software, so it's rough, but it sure helped with my grieving.
Best of luck with your search for another. All dogs are great; but there's just something about corgis...
Thanks for the welcome....sorry to hear about Emmy. I have a 2 1/2 year male corgi named Lance and could not imagine if something ever happened to him. Corgis are great. Good luck with finding your next Corgi. We have a cardigan welsh corgi.
Sounds like a good plan. It is always easier to potty train when the weather is warmer! Keep me updated! I have only been to NH one time for a conference. I stayed in a 200 year old farmhouse--awesome. I think it is a beautiful state. So many trees compared to Nebraska.
Thanks for adding me as a friend, George. I am so sorry for your loss. Emmy was a beautiful girl.
I hope you find that very special corgi this spring. :o)
Hi George V I am sorry to read about Emmy. I lost my heart dog last May to cancer she was only 6. It is very hard. Gracie is Maggies half sister and just full of herself. It was nice reading your page.

Hi there, We lost our girl corgi around the same time as you lost yours. We are so sorry to hear of your loss. We were lucky enough to get our corgis through rescue,so we aren't exactly sure how old she was, but she was at least 11. Have you found another girl corg? Or rather, has one found you?! xo A and C and Tucker the Fluff
thanks for adding me as a friend. sorry to hear about the loss of your corgi; i just lost a dog last sept. so i know that pain. i hope you find a new furry friend soon.
Hi George. I am new to the site. Sorry to hear about your loss. You may not be able to replace your Emmy, but I know you will find the "right" Corgi to fill the empty spot she left.
We got our first Corgi because we lost our Golden Retriever (at age 6) due to cancer. This was the second golden we lost due to cancer at age 6 and all right after the Christmas holidays. We could not bear losing another Golden so we tried another breed. After a large amount of research we came up with the Corgi. And I must admit we are very happy with our choice. We got our Corgi from http://haystackacres.com/CorgiFrameset.htm. She has lovely dogs. Thanks for the invite!
Thanks for adding me as a friend. So sorry to hear of your loss! Emmy was a beautiful corgi. It is so hard to loose our faithful companions. My husband and I have been married almost 31 years (!) and have had six wonderful dogs over the years. From mutts to purebreds, we have loved them all and it is so hard to say goodbye. We currently have Duke a 9 year old Saint Bernard, and I know his time is running short. We also have Penni, our little corgi. She is almost 4 years old and she is such a bright spot in our day! My husband commented after we got her, "Why didn't we ever get one of these sooner?" And I agree!
Hope you find your new corgi soon.
Thanks for the invite! Sorry for your loss! I lost one of my kitties yesterday :( Good luck with the new search,It is amazing when the timing is right how beautiful that new baby is.
Hi George, I am sorry to hear about Emmy. Good luck on your search for a new Corgi, I am sure you will find a great one...they are terrific dogs...I sure love Luigi!
Happy Spring George! If you are still looking for a new pup....there is a wonderful breeder in York, ME. I can get you the contact info if you'd like. I don't think that this place is too far from you. Lots of light and best wishes.
Hi George,
Thanks for accepting me and my dog Radar into your corgi group. I just joined this site today and I will work on getting some pictures of Radar on it soon - right now he is sound asleep on his back after a full afternoon of soccer! Radar looks just like your dog - same color and markings but much bigger ears!

thanks so much for adding me to your friends list. I am so new too this. My daughter sent me the MyCorgi and wow i had to join and share my girls. So sorry on your beautiful Emmy. My heart goes out to you and your family. These little dogs are such a great gift in our lifes. I know how hard it is to find corgi's as it took me a year in half to find my annie. There was an add in our paper finally and I made a mad dash out in a blizzard, -30 wind chill and you couldnt see 5 feet in front of the car. the girls fill up my days and I thank heaven everyday for them. Keep looking there is one out there to be loved by you and your family
we lost our misty in 2003 and my parents swore up and down that they would never have another pet but since all three grandsons having been asking my parents when they will get another misty well they figure the time has come to start looking once again. misty died in 2003 of old age and she was a tri colour fluffy and spoiled absolutely rotten with love. i've been trying to locate another pembroke welsh corgi breeder in the maritimes but so far no luck. soo i wish you luck n your search for a new fuzzy friend
Very sorry to hear about your loss. Hopefully a new friend will come to you soon! In the meantime, Mac wishes you were closer so he could give you lots of kisses and snuggles to make up for Emmy's absence.
