I beat the game a few days ago, and WOW! It was a lot to take in. I thought that Naomi and Otacon made a cute couple. After act 2, it was like, oh my gosh, things are turning out worse and worse. It was depressing me, lol! Then when I saw the remains of Big Boss, I was like...nooooo that's not how I want to see him, hehe. I loved Naked Snake, and seeing him as he was got me down big time. But as the story unfolded, I felt REALLY relieved, lol. But it was hard to see both Eva and Big Boss go. I actually cried in the scenes where Hal is talking to Sunny about Snake, and when Snake is with his father. And i couldn't believe that Major Zero was the one behind it all. He was really cool in MGS3 and finding out he was the bad guy and sooooo old in the wheel chair it was really hard, lol. The hand to hand combat w/ snake and liquid ocelot was awesome! It's a great game. I agree too, that the other games were a harder. I'm playing the game over again and trying to get the Altair outfit. Gotta beat the game with 50+ CQC moves with a knife kill, and have no more than 25 alerts. It will be a good challenge. Oh hey what ranking did you get when you beat the game? I got the inch worm, spent a lot of time laying down, hehe.
At the beginning, when Sunny was cracking the eggs....she says "Solidus must have taken the day off" and she says a whole bunch of numbers like in the tone of a song or something, what did all that mean? I was puzzled at that. My boyfriend didn't know either. With the numbers I thought maybe it was some password or something.
In order to get the Big Boss ranking (which is the highest) you gotta have 0 alerts, 0 kills, 0 continues and on top of that you gotta beat the game no more than 5 hours. Just on act 1 alone I spent like 3 hours and 47 minutes. I'm now on act 2 somewhere's and so far I have no alerts. I've had to reset the game like a million times along with lots of saves, lol. It's been hard but challenging. I'd like to beat the game with 0 alerts at least.
I got her to go into the river!! I was so excited, and I just had to tell you because it was your advice that helped!!! She walked in the water with me and even swam a little (she started floating away and i had to pick her up... don't know if she'll ever do it again...) but she seems to really like walking in the water with me! Thanks!!
To defeat the bosses w/o killing them, you use a tranq weapon, and if you defeat them like that, around the area you'll find a little toy figure of them. I haven't tried the online yet either. As far as constumes, not all rankings will give you costumes, but if you do unlock any costumes, it'll be available when you start over when Otacon introduces you to the mk II.
I just finished it with 0 alerts, I got the octopus, some others and the altair, which my boyfriend will be really happy to see. He likes Assassins Creed. Hehe, and when you go to the icon of the Altair emblem is says Assassin Solid, hehe. Have you ever tried to beat and of the MGS games on the hardest level? The only one that I have trouble beating on the hardest difficulty is MGS2. MGS1 and MGS3 I was able, but MGS2 I couldn't. I'd get stuck on the fight with Solidus. MGS4 I haven't tried it yet.
Have you obtained the digital camera yet? Once you do, I've heard that after you defeat the first form of any of the BB, they'll pose for you when they have their armor off. You gotta stall around for 3 minutes and the room will go all white, and that's where they'll start posing if you have the camera out. I haven't tried it, but I have picked up the cam. You get it on the 1st mission briefing(I think) it's located behind Sunny's computer.
My best canine buddy will be moving to Florida soon. Although he is not my doggie per say, I've taken care of him for many months and have bonded very well with him.
His real owner will be moving to Florida soon. Bernie has lived all his life in New York State. My question to you is: can you provide me with information or links to hazards such as predators, snakes, dangerous plants etc.
My friend Leontine, Bernie's owner (a Dutch girl) also has a cat which is used to spending 50% her of the time outside. Although the property she is looking at is fenced in; I'm concerned as to the risks associated with a semi tropical environment. I'm also worried about the temperature difference for a corgi raised in NYS and is eleven years old (loves snow) and is having hip, fused vertebrae and neurological problems in his back legs.
I don't want to bother personally for you're knowledge ; but if you could give me links or numbers to call; that would be great.
The area my friend Leontine will be moving to is North Port on the western side of Florida, south of Tampa.
I also like modern furniture from the 60's and 70's and your professional web site. Nice, clean and direct :-)
Thanks for the reference to the recall list. I am just frusterated because it seems like every brand I come across is or has been recalled. It's as if we have to risk our dogs health in the process of finding something safe for them to eat. I will continue my search.
Hi Sam - I think you are the person that adds links to the forums. I handed off the boy i was fostering, Oscar last Friday to Deb Nosse at Tri-State Corgi rescue in West Virginia. She was absolutely the BEST!! She works with a group of individuals who foster dogs in their homes and try to find the right homes for them. I have an application in with her to try to get the right match for Ruby and me. Can you add her link to the forums under Rescues? here is the link:

Thanks for the welcome! This seems like a wonderful site. I am a bit of a Web 2.0 fan (Basecamp, Plan HQ, Google Apps, etc). Any way to search profiles by city/location? I tried a general search and nothing came up. I want to connect to corgi owners and breeders in the Portland/Vancouver area.
Hrm at least that time it was just a paper bag and we were around. I am definitely careful about plastic and chip bags though. Thanks for the heads up anyway.
Howdy, yeah I would miss it if I ever left, except when its 44.2 degrees like Boxing Day was last year. Currently freezing in the midst of winter but the corgis love it, means they can get away with being on the couches (the tiles are just too cold).
I have a couple of friends over in Vic and go for Richmond Tigers so I have to get my butt over there eventually, that or I'd love to move to SoCal.
Comment re Furminator vs Buster: I just bought the medium size one. I had tried the furminator at the breeders and it was great. I bought this one because it was $31.00, whereas the furminator is about $80.00 here. I honestly didn't notice a difference. The advantage with the Furbuster is that you can buy replacement blades for $18.00, whereas with the Furminator there is no replacement blade.
Hi Sam, I am thinking of switching foods from Canidae to Hills Sciencediet (purely for the sake of convenience). I noticed that you started a discussion asking about dog foods and that you fed yours Sciencediet. After reading the discussion, are you still feeding Sciencediet and do you still recommend it. I noticed there was a lot of corn in it, which I was concerned about but the vet (who sells Sciencediet) said that animals don't have same allergies as humans. Anyway, would love to get your opinion. Thanks, Joy
Sam,
Thanks for all your advice. You know how to make a newbie feel right at home. I do have another question for you. As you know, we have 2 months still to get prepared. Has anyone compiled a list of things you must have before you bring the puppy home. I feel like we got the essentials (we'll be borrowing a crate from the breeder until we need to upgrade) but I feel like i'm forgetting something. Thanks! ~Cindy
Hi Sam, thanks for the comment. Something isn't working right with my video. I clicked on the Swimming Video and nothing is coming up for me. I waited a few minutes and tried several times and it is just blank. Do you have any insights? Tx, Joy
Thanks for the feedback. I can't even open up YouTube for some reason. Some of Butter's videos I can see and some I can't. Maybe YouTube is having some problems. If they are, would it affect my vides since I used their embed code?
HI Sam, I just uninstalled Java from my computer. I had put it on at the advice of this site. I noticed that I had a lot of problems after but hadn't gotten around to uninstall it. Now that I have taken it off, voila, my videos work again. Thanks anyway.
