Fern has turned into a happy little girl. She was FRAPping around the yard yesterday and would run and then take a flying jump into the wading pool. Lay down for a couple of seconds in the water then start again. The other dogs have really taken to her. She really is a cuddler as well. I need to get some new pictures posted. It was a good decision to get her. Still working on her incontinence issue, but we have things under control most of the time. Love your pair as well. Such a nice combo!
Thank you so much for the compliment! You're Corgi is adorable! <3
Yes, she is putting on the weight now, not too fast though. Lol! She doesn't seem like the kind of dog that puts it on quickly, which is like the total opposite of other corgis! *pets your corg*
Thanks for the compliment on m'pics. I use a Kodak easy share C703. It's a good little camera.
I see you're a dressage rider. Very awesome! I love watching dressage. We just went to see the famous Lipizzaner Stallions last saturday. Oh they are so beautiful! They are my favorite horse!
Howdy Katie,Molly, Tiger and family,
Thank you for visiting us and your compliment. Your darling pembroke are cute.
My kids are about year and a half,I recued both of them, the big guy from Human Soceity and corgi from the family who dosn't want him. I can't hold Gizmo(~too heavy) as you do with Molly. Gizmo was too much eating,he is on diet now.
The Money Magazine ranked Rockwall as one in the top ten cities to live. From what I see on Google map street,it's really beautiful.
HA HA Gizmo too!
He sneak on the buddy's food in Everytimes he get Chances. We give him 2 very small meals a day,and he eat evrything we give even carrots, that's his snack now.
Wow...just reading your profile. You have my 2 passions...dressage and corgis. I had a 3 star event horse awhile back..but since having a kid (who's now 7) I can't afford the horse show circuit...but I'm always looking for a prospect!!
I definately will! I have seen Clark show at some of the Area V events. My horse's show name was Patent Pending - I was fortunate enough to be able to send her to the East Coast to show with Gayle Gessner and actually David O'Connor rode her at Radnor and they wanted to buy her because Karen fell in love with her and told me that this horse was special and could go all the way.
Molly and T i "double gurrrrr r" are precious! How do you get Molly to wear the clothes? Claire shakes off everything we try! Seeing the pic of those two on leashes reminds me just how much Claire loves to go for a walk. Just mention "collar and leash" and she happily goes right to the drawer where her leash awaits. Her little Scottie brother loves to walk too but Claire usually has to noisily herd him into the room to be fitted with his leash. Then it's off, we go!
Katie, what do yours do when they play together? Bailey is nipping at Truffle's neck and feet a lot so T is NOT keen to play with him. Does Molly get jealous at Tigger and vice versa?
I can't pet one without being 'attacked' by the other wanting attention.
Thanks! Your corgis and that horse are beautiful! I haven't gotten to ride in ages.
You know, I read and loved Dogzilla when I was a kid, but seeing it on your page is the first time I ever realized Dogzilla was a corgi! The best line ever is "They tried to catch up to that hot dog with all the relish they could muster!"
*laughs* I'm Pacific Coast born and bred. Coffee is a grand invention.
Actually, I have a lot of good help, too, no questions about that, if I didn't have that, I couldn't do a quarter of what I do, and I'm very thankful for my employees and my husband. He cooks and does a lot of the house cleaning and even feeds the animals in a pinch.
I'd be living off of Hot Pockets and cheese in a can if it wasn't for him. ;)
No, I have not decided, I was leaning toward a pemuntil I visited the local cardi breeder, I am sure that when I go visit the pem breeder that is in my area I will lean the other way! HAHa, Maybe one of each?
Thank you! You have beautiful corgi's! I loved that outfit, but it no longer fits him :( (I still have it even though it doesn't fit, it's just too cute) He once could fit a size medium but now he squeezes into a large- he's a big chested guy!! lol!!
Cute kitty! I have a black cat as well, she's about 14!
Pick on something smaller than Everest. Ours have never gone more than 23+ miles in 14 hrs. with 8000' of elevation gain. Not saying corgis can't go farther, but they're really only in it for the extra food (triple rations).
There are a coupla corgi romance novels. "Diamond in the Ruff" and "Finding Mr. Right". Don't know if they're worth it, but cute. The corgis in older photos (cf the book cover on your page) look different to me from modern corgis. ????
LOL, a halter top!! That's great!! The day I took those pictures he actually created a large rip down the front of it, I don't know if you can see it in the pictures.
How many cats do you have? I rescued a kitten the other day.. She is so sweet, but she is now very very sick. I've been in and out of the vet all week!
Thanks for the compliment. You are lucky to have 2! I love the name Tigger, so cute and not overdone.
Actually we never taught Baby Butter anything, he developed it himself as an attention getter, not necessarity begging. He uses it to cheer me up...that is really adorable.
They are saying that it's just a cold, but she's not improving and it's been a week now- she's even on steroids to help her breathe.. it's insane. I've been to the vet 3 times now, and I'm preparing to go again. *sigh* Poor little thang.
Aw, Red can come share our grass! We have lots and lots of it... well, not so much right now (come on rain, please rain!) but still, enough that they're not even getting hay right now, they're borderline pudgy again.
And thanks for the nice comment on Captain. I usually get - "What kind of horse is he? Arab? No way, really?")
(Actually, my crew's on rotational pasture/dry lot now because oh man, are they both easy keepers. Blondie was almost spherical after I missed riding for two weeks, like a little Paint beachball!)
Both of our girls are about 15 lbs give or take a little. Chapin is just a year so she might have a little growing yet to do, but she is actually not quite as tall as Cagney so I really do not think she will be much more than 15 to 16 lbs. So that is a "mini." I think mini generally refers to corgis under 20 lbs though. They basically look just like regular corgis (act like them too) but are not as long or wide.
Thank you for adding me, Katie !
You have a cute Corgi pair, and your kitty has a lovely color !
You know, I know the Corgis of the photo on your page: "Rly, wez not stuffed", they live in Shikoku, Japan, the mother in the middle is Marin, and her son, left of the photo is Kojiro, can't remember the other.
Hi Katie, Molly and Tigger! how are you guys? Last week Bailey was just naughty and trying everyone's (hubby, me and Truffle) patience to the limit! :):)
I thought we're on the way to finally housebreak him. Just when the hope is up, he had accidents non stop over the weekend. Started with runny poop (not a pretty sight) everywhere on his and Truffe's pillows plus some on Truffle as well (coz they sleep together).
then pooped again in the laundry, then peed like 3 times in the house and on the bean bag.
Arggghhh..the joy of puppyhood. :):):) so funny though coz you can see Truffle is pretty disgusted at Mr Bailey's house manner. She won't go anywhere near him and barked at him.
haha. Anything happened at your end?
No, I have to say she was a Carrie Underwood fan (of course) and following closely with Kristy Lee Cook (gotta stay with a horse person) and David Cook (our Tulsa Bartender). She was really excited Monday night when Melissa Lawson won Nashville Star (gotta root for the REAL Women)!
Yes Katie, there are a lot of Corgis in Japan, but almost no Cardi, all Pems !
And Tasha Tudor is very famous, I choosed to get a Corgi after watching a program about Tasha on tv here.
I gess everybody like her here, in MyCorgi ?!
I have a few books of Tasha Tudor, photos, drawings, all so charming....
Haha, sounds like you're having fun as well! Yep, a glass (or two or a whole bottle) of wine always helps! :)
Have you got a blog on how you found Tigger?
