Mocha came into our lives shortly after our wedding back in 2002, we soon added Vienna to keep Mocha company.
Mocha graduated with a CGC and held the position of Ambassador in conduct with foreign canine relations. Mocha was diagnosed with Stage 5 Lymphoma in April, he crossed the rainbow bridge on July 30th 2012.
Vienna received her GED from petsmart university and served as Secretary of Defence in our Corgidom. Vienna was diagnosed with stage 5 Lymphoma in August 2012, she joined Mocha at the bridge just before the last day of the Mayan calendar - Dec 20th, 2012.
We continue to foster, rehab and place rescue corgis in need.
Hi Sam, just wondering why when I post a blog it says it is say posted by: me, but when I log out it says posted by: Natalie, why would it change? Thanks for your help.
Thanks for the welcome. Mocha and Vienna are so SWEET! You know, it never ceases to amaze me how much corgis are alike. Our Kua was also the Zen master of our two; cool, laid back, liked to "talk," pretty unperturbable (except for thunder, lighning, and low battery beeps in the smoke detectors). Our baby, Kai, on the other hand is like your Vienna as he, too, is still puppy-like, even at 11. He personality is 180 degrees different than Kua's, too, in that he's really high-strung, can be scared of his shadow, etc. but he's more corgi-like in his herding instincts. Kua was more "people-like." :^)
Thank you for the welcome and thank you for creating this site for all us crazy corgi lovers. I stumbled across it surfing the internet the other night. Turbo is my first corgi and I am so lucky to have such a wonderful dog in my life. Corgi's are the best. I love all your pictures. Mocha & Vienna are beautiful.
Hi Sam, Thank you for the nice welcome! I enjoyed looking at your slide show of your precious Corgis! They are great looking dogs! We love our Jillie, she is the best dog!
Kathy
Hi Sam, thanks for the greeting. Very nice Corgis you have! I enjoyed your pictures and they put a smile on my face since I miss my Pokey man, I've been away from him for two months. I finally get to see my little guy tonight.
Hi there mate! Thanks for the warm welcome. Happy to see other people sharing the same interests. (Am very interested in Web Development and Design myself!)
Sam, your corgis are beautiful. Loved reading the stories. My family and I went apple picking this weekend. We had the bag of apples on the floor. Anna knocked it over, and was chasing and of course, eating as many apples as she could. My lab mix just watched her. Funny to see their personality, isn't it
Thank you! I would like, if you ever see any, note me about Corgis that are being sold near my area, Magnolia Kentucky. Louisville is too far though. I would appreciate it!
Hi Sam! Momo and I are just stopping by to say hi. The community has grown so much since we first joined. Congrats on the site's success!!! We appreciate being able to connect with other corgi families!!!
Hi Sam, thanks for the welcome! Pimms would say G'day back but at the moment he's in hiding, there is a big thunder storm brewing here in Brisbane and he's storm phobic, so he's down in his "den" under the house - dark, quiet, cool and safe from the scarey booming monsters outside. Take care Vienna and Mocha - guess your a coffee nut too!
Good catch! Yes in fact, that's exactly where Awesome-O's name came from... it's always funny to me to see who knows the reference. :) He is, in fact, awesome (o).
Hey I saw you ask about the furbuster...I bought one about a week ago in preperation for my puppy (next week pick up hopefully!) I was going to get a furminator but furbusters were on sale at Petco for a quarter of the price, so I indulged....I use it on my Mane Coon kitty (who sheds more than a golden retriever--no joke!) and with each stroke I pick up so much fur its like a magnet! I've never used a furminator but I would definently reccomend a furbuster to anyone. Hope that helps. :]
Thanks for the welcome. It is our pleasure to join. Its nice to have a place to talk about my kids anytime the mood strikes! We look forward to making lots of new friends.
Thank you for the welcome. I'm sorry it has taken so long to reply back to your comment. Bandit has been taking up all of our free time at home. You have 2 beautiful corgis. Hopefully I can start using the site for some pointers on bringing up "baby"!
hi sam. just wanted to tell you thanks again for this incredible site. we have learned so much about our first corgi, cody, that we would never of learned from others or any other website. but i have a question. cody is now 14 months old and ever since we had him neuteured in august, he has been barking a lot! sometimes i do know its for a reason such as wanting to play or go to the bathroom, but other times he does bark and i dont know what to do to make him stop such as when i need to study. we live in an apt and i know the neighbors downstairs cant enjoy his barking :[ any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks again!
