I'm the 3rd child. . .born on the 3rd day. . .of the 3rd month. . .the 1st 3 letters of my first name are the same as the 1st 3 letters of the month I was born in. . .I am of the 3rd generation of. . .Whitehorse The Man. . .I was raised by my ♥~Maternal Grandparents~♥ from the time I was 3 days old. . .I am the proud mom of 3 wonderful Corgis, Andy 9 yrs, Hilary 2 yrs, Nutmeg 2 yrs and of course Peanut, 8 yrs. I have 4 VERY independent Cats, Maximillian, Badger, Sammie and Duke. . . .I also have 8 Doves. . . .I enjoy Archaeology, Paleoarchaeology, Geology, Geoarchaeology, Paleontology and Anthropology. . . .I play piano and guitar. . .I enjoy creating websites. . .American Indian Beadwork and in my spare time, I enjoy watching my iTunes Libray (over 2,500 movies) and my AppleTV. What more can I want?. . .maybe another ♥~Corgi~♥???? LOL
In the last couple of years, I've lost my beautiful fur-babies, Sid, Babs and Cloe. Like all who have lost their fur-babies, it's a pain that never goes away. I think of them always even though I have 3 Corgis and Peanut to keep me busy, they are close to my heart. My new additions, Hilary and Nutmeg are twins even though you would never know it by looking at them. They are full of energy and love playing, chasing and relaxing with their big brothers. My older Pupsters welcomed them into their world right away and they love them as much as I do. . .they have taken them under their paws and are teaching them all the do(s) and don't(s). They look forward to their morning walks, enjoy their chewies, stuffed toys and going to the doggie park. . .I can't imagine life without them. . . .WHO KNEW????"
MY BELONGS TO ANDY HILARY & NUTMEG
My 3 wonderful Corgis, a joy to behold
with short stocky legs
and a heart of solid gold.
Protective and fearless, yet loving and true
3 Corgis that bring sunshine
to turn dark skies blue.
Asleep by my chair, or playing outside
I love my 3 Corgis
right here by my side.

I'm glad the fire didn't effect you directly. Isn't it frightening your town can be on fire and someone has to call to let you know! It moves so fast! I know how scary it is to consider preparing to evacuate. A few years ago when the Piru fire crept over the Simi hills we felt like we were surrounded by flames, the sky was orange and the ash was coming down in 1 inch chunks. My husband and I discussed what we should take and all we could think of is the dogs.
Yesterday our skies were that muddy yellow color and the wind was crazy bad. It really started to worry me but it never made it's way here. I think we've all had enough of fire lately!!
Your Corgis are so, so, so cute!!! We had three at one time once, what a handful for only 2 people! One was always on the "outs" for attention.

Does your brother love the dogs as much as you do?
When Daisy was alive she'd command all my attention. If she was on my lap she would bare her teeth at any dog that dare come near! She was Mommy's girl and wanted to make sure that was clear at all times.

Here's one from my Grandpa, also quite the story teller. Years ago I had asked him how to prune my young rose bushes. He said, "Well, don't cut their heads off before their feet have a chance to grow!" It sounds silly, but when I'm training young employees to learn, achieve and be strong I just think about roses.
Can't wait to read about the Tataviam Indians. Thanks for taking the time to tell me about it. Baskets are very interesting to me. My 88 year old Grandmother has 2 baskets that my Great Grandma bought in 1930, for like $2.50 each! Now they are worth over $10,000 each and collectors call her constantly call her to buy them. She always politely says, "No thank you, these are for my family". By the way, the family has already agreed they won't be sold...more people will benefit by seeing them in a museum. (Ok, I'm probably boring you! )
My husband comes home at lunch and emails me with "pup-dates" if anything interesting has transpired. Sound like that's what your brother does too. We are really slaves to our dogs! Hey, we don't have any kids so we might as well be crazy in love with the dogs. :)
Take care!

I was in Californi for 3 Times. I have Friends in Palm Desert and Long Beach. So I know LA as well, that´s funny.
When you plan to visit Germany, do it in the summer time or you get much rain. But Hamburg is a very, very beautiful town. So don´t miss to visit Hamburg when you go to Europe !!!
