About My Corgi(s):
Kona is a female who seems smaller compare to other Corgis of same age. Little that I knew about dogs being a first time owner, I was searching for a Corgi with a pretty face online for 2 months. What I got was more than a Corgi with a pretty face. She has an excellent temperament and is very well behaved. She can be little shy at times, but she is very sweet and adorable. Haha
I have:

She is the cutest little thing. All the white on her face makes her look so sweet.

I love all your photos. You puppy is quite photogenic.

You asked me if the pictures on my page are of Rory full grown. She surprisingly looks the same today as she did at 6 months. I've recently added some very recent pictures so you can see. She's 19 lbs at 1 yr and 3 months old. Smallest I've seen. Maybe it's all the running she does, but she doesn't gain weight.

I look forward to seeing more pictures of Kona was she gets older.

Kona is BEAUTIFUL!! I of course think all corgi's are cute but some strike you more than others. I love the dark tri color around his eyes. That may get darker as he gets older because my little Mimi wasn't dark at all when I got her, and now her color around her neck is alot darker with age. Anyway, have fun with your baby!!

What a gorgeous baby! She's so little and cute. I love all the white on her face. Just adorable. Kona is a great name, too. Good luck with her!

Hi Andy! Thanks for your comments. I feel I'm doing what I need to do and Roscoe was meant to be with us. Some days are difficult, but when he wiggles his "panda butt" and pivots those EARS, I'm hooked all over again. You know what I mean. Kona is precious and will bring you much joy. Take care. Penny

Just wondering, are you from southern california? my husband is originally from garden grove, and i just saw that you live in irvine, which is where is little sister goes to college. Small world.
  • Florence Fong

    Hi,
Just to clarify.......it's a picture I downloaded from the internet. I have yet to download his pictures.

  • Alfredo

Oh man i love Kona's coloring. Small corgis rock!
  • Deb Shindle

9 lbs at 5 months is minature. They should be between 16-18 or so lbs. by 5 months. They're usually 20 lbs by 6 months.
  • morgan

    I love Kona! How precious
  • Vladimir

Kona is GORGEOUS! She has the most beautiful face, and her little white paws are perfect :) My Griff's ears are slightly pointy like hers, too!

    Hi Andy,

    Kona is so cute.....

Ruby is a bit too active for Jack.....

She has bitten Jack's ears twice to-date and the first time was pretty bad. Jack's left ear is scarred for life.

Pls visit my blog dedicated to my 2 dogs at http://beaglecorgi.blogspot.com/

You will see more photos and videos on them.

hi! i just noticed that you guys are from irvine on the southern california corgi group! i'm originally from irvine too (i go to school somewhere else). we're gonna be back this summer so if you're ever going to central bark we can try to meet up! i love her coloring. =)
  • Francine

Thanks! It took us several days to decide on a name. Your Kona is so adorable...really great coloring and a sweet expression. Corgi puppies are just the best!
  • Korrin

Honestly Andy I don't think Rory's grow since she was right around 6 months. She was born in January and I just looked at some June 30th, 2007 picture and she looks the same today and she did then. I'd say no more then 2 lbs since then have been gained. She just had her 1 yr shots and the vet said she looks fantastic, so I'm happy with how well I've kept her weight consistent. She's definitely done growing. She's been @ 19.8 lbs for 5 months at least.

By the way I love the newest pictures of Kona. She's just so adorable. I can't wait to see how she looks in the months to come.
  • Niki

    Kona is simply adorable!
  • Court

oh my gosh, she is adorable! I haven't seen corgi pups except in fotos, and not many at that until this site recently. Everything looks nice and tidy around her and she looks like a very proper young 'lady'! It's so apparent you love her so!...Court here to the left, must have been about full grown at 7ishmonths when they found him shot and running loose...maybe a little older, but he looked like a puppy at that time in him mouth...being a rescue it makes it hard to determine their age when they are already full grown fairly young (like with him, a 7month old corgi can often be thought of as a year old...)...I love him so much, he's
a wee under the weather and is sleeping most of today, perfect, I feel like staying in myself! I had dogs growing up but this is my first dog on my own...
  • Samantha

She is soo cute! Absolutely adorable!
  • Ginny and Diggory

    What a cute little lady!
  • Mochi The Corgi

Awe Kona is soo cute!!! Out next dog we want a tri, I love her Colors!
  • Christina & Vicki

    Hi Kona,

I do see your little black tri back. Do you know if tri ran in either of your parents. I bet your getting so big now. Mimi is a whopping 24lbs now. Dingo is 33lbs. She is catching up fast. I love looking at all the pics of the beautiful Corgi's on this site. And your definitly one of them!! Have a wonderful day.

  • Juel

What a pretty furbaby you have! Will she Lighten up much as she gets older?
  • mikonami

    Kona still looks so small! Mei was gigantic by 6 months. =) I'm in Irvine now with not much to do, so just let me know whenever you and Kona are bored and wanna head to the dog park. ^^;;;

(if I seem a little weird, it's just cuz i'm obsessive about corgis in general ;D )
  • Kristin

Hi! I saw that your corgi was 10 pounds at 6mo. Our lil Gunni is almost the same weight. I was wondering how old Kona was now and if she put on anymore weight?
  • Kristin

Thanks for the reply. Kona and Gunni are only about 1 month apart. Gunni's so skinny I keep trying to put weight on her, but I guess she has a fast metabolism or something.
  • mikonami

yay! i think kona will be easy to recognize from the rest of the crowd. =)
  • Molly

She is georgous! She has a face you immediately love.
  • Keith, Joanne, and Range

I love your puppy!! The coloring is so nice... we're planning to get a Tri or a Cardigan, because our Range needs a friend to play with. Hehehhe!!
  • Vacationholic

Your corgi is super cute and happy looking :)! Yay for being a socal corgi owner.
  • Vacationholic

I'm 1st time dog owner too! So glad I got a corgi; they're so smart. Kona got a pretty girly face, I LOVE the colors of her face. I'm near South Pasadena, but I went to college in Irvine. Where in LA do you stay half of the time?
  • Vacationholic

Haha practically. I lived in Ktown last year, now I'm in an area that's much more dog friendly if you know what I mean :). I got Bumbles at Redlands. I did tons of research and was deciding between corgi and Cavalier. Bumbles was the first puppy I saw and I was instantly in love. I'm amazed at how smart corgis are and how much easier it is to house break and teach tricks. How old is Kona?
  • Vacationholic

Yeah Kona is on the small side. Bumblebee on the other hand is 3.5months and almost 12lbs. He's struggling a little on the "rollover" trick, or maybe I'm just an ineffective trainer, but he learned "high five" in 15minutes! I can't wait till he learns "bang", haha.
  • Hayley, Roxy, & Bolt

Aww! Kona is sooo cute! She has great coloring and a great smile! I love her name too...Kona!
  • Gail's Lil' Gizmo

i enjoyed your pictures.. Kona (what does that mean?) is it Hawaiian? what a gorgeous face.. how old now? Is she still small?
  • Vacationholic

She's still really cute! :) you should post Youtube videos of her. I'm trying to "finalize" Bumblebee's tricks so I can make one.
  • Tati and Corgis Laika 'n' Maple Leaf

Hi! Thanks, we all love that posing! They're very cute! Good luck with yours too! Cheers!
  • Jessie

Hey! I'm looking to get a dog exactly like yours (she is so cute!!) Would you mind telling me where you got her from? Thanks much!
  • colahan

omg she's so freaking cute!~ cola is my first puppy too. :)
  • Brent & Mona's Bunny Butts!

Hi Kona! Tucker is well behaved also. Very loving and patient. Congrats you are very lucky!
  • Michael Hong

Yeah, Brad Biggers' site has been offline for quite some time now... maybe he's not breeding corgies anymore?

Our pups do look great don't they haha!
  • Jude, Lily and Louise

Kona is a beautiful dainty lady. Love that face!
