I went to the Balboa Park last month and I was not thrilled with the new crowd. They were very clicky and didn't want anybody THEY didn't know to mingle with their dogs. I was VERY disappointed. My Pupsters are very friendly and wanted to play with all the other dogs there but this one lady started chasing them away saying they were a nuisance and they were annoying her dogs. I didn't say anything, packed my bags and left. I haven't been back since. Why can't they just let the dogs play and have fun. . .anyway, I'm looking for a new place for my Pupsters to run and play. Let me know if you find one in the San Fernando Valley.
