- My corgis are male,litter mates from Mt Pleasant, Utah. They are tri-color, one big, one lean. We named them after the Hobbits; Samwise Gamgee and Perigrin Pippin because they have large ears, short legs and are very loyal companions....and enchanted! My corgis love to play, hike, walk, and swim!

Geri & Sidney said… - Hobbit corgis, my favorite kind! Welcome Kristen, Samwise and Pippin! We have a cat named Pippin, after the hobbit as well. I like to say hobbit names are perfect for corgis because they are short mischievous thieves with huge appetites! ("what about second breakfast?"). Sidney came to us already named, but if I ever get to name my own corgi, it'll either be Samwise or Frodo, LOL.
Sidney does not care to swim but loves to hike. Those stumpy little legs are mighty!
