Well, unfortunately I'm ashamed to report that poor Fred the foster Corgi had an accident. The horses made an escape during feeding and poor Fred was run over during the dash. A quick physical exam revealed no broken bones or swelling and resulted in a nip to the examiner. We were extremely concerned for him throughout the night. Howdy all,
Well, it's been a week or two and I thought I'd type out an update on Fred. He seems to be adjusting well to living with our pack. There have been a few moments, but there have been less than I expected. He pretty much ignores the cats, even when they fish at him when he walks by their perch. He is somewhat guardish about his food, but we're working on it. He is excellent with my grandson, who will reach a year old this June. He tolerates being patted and pulled on…

Well, today is a big day. Today we have officially become involved in the rescue group from whom we got Ren.
We picked up a rescue corgi from a gentleman who had flown him from Albuquerque to Las Cruces. His name is Fred and he will be staying with us for a while. The gentleman who flew him down expressed some intrest in adopting him. Hopefully things will work out. Until then, he will be residing with our pack.
