Not looking for the "perfect puppy", we adopted one that came to us with mild hip dysplasia, Von Willebrand's disease and an eye disorder.
Bailey joined our family when she was 10 months old, and has been with us for 7yrs. Bales has been an amazing addition to our family.
June of 2010, Bailey was diagnosed with lymphoma, the vet gave her 3mos. The thought of having to put down our girl is devastating! We have her on a daily dose of prednisone, but the tumors have come back full force.

I was just browsing through your profile and I'm so saddened to hear the news about Bailey! Alwyn and I send our deepest condolences and you're in our thoughts. You gave her such a wonderful life and and the love you had for one another goes beyond what words could ever express. My heart goes out to you and for taking such magnificent care of her through all of her loving years with you.
We are very sorry for your loss, you and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers. This site and the good people on here helped me so much when our Tedi passed over, I hope you get the same from it. I'm sure Tedi was there to greet Bailey he was just that way when we were blessed with him here kind, loving and friendly.
Pamela, my heart goes out to you! I know you have lots of memories, but you are lonely without her. Don't feel bad when you cry your heart out for her, she was a big part of your life. I am sitting here with tears for you, Bailey and for my Odie who crossed the bridge 4 years ago. May you have some peace in the coming days, you will be in my prayers. Take care

You have her forever in your memories and in your heart
Just happened to catch your status update! I am so sorry for your loss... you gave her a wonderful life and many people would have not even given her a chance. Corgi hugs and kisses from our house to your's...
Any word from the vet? Hope that things are going better for Bailey today. My heart goes out to you. You, your family and Bailey will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Welcome to the site Pamela! I can understand what you are going through, and I know it is difficult. I hear myself in poor Bailey's breathing (I have 3 lung diseases) He just seems so uncomfortable as he tries to breathe. I don't know how many human med cross over to dog meds, I know that albuterol does, as Odie used it at the end. Albuterol is often for breakthrough asthma in humans, there must be something for chronic - tho I would think the prednisone he is already on would help (I am assuming it helped with wt. gain?) I wish you well
its heartbreaking, i can not imagine what you are going thru. My thoughts and prayers go you to you and your baby..

Welcome Pamela and Bailey. She is a sweet looking little girl. I'm so sorry to hear about the lymphoma. We have a member on our San Diego Corgi meetup group who is dealing with lymphoma with their corgi Wesley. I can give you a link to their discussion in case there is any helpful info there.
My Sidney was just diagnosed with severe hip dysplasia a week ago, and he had FHO surgery on TUesday. I was scared to death to send him to the surgeon, but he's home now and starting to act like his old bossy self.
