About My Corgi(s):: Half sisters Figg (Figgie Pudding) from CH Phi-Vestavia Nott A Gamble and Visa, and Newton (Your Darn Tootin' Newton) from CH Phi-Vestavia Nott A Gamble and Harvestmoon-Notts Daily News. Figg was born February 17, 2008 and Newton on July 14, 2008. Same father, different mothers. Biscuit (Nabisco) from CH Notts Boomer Sooner and CH Somerset's Eleanor Rigby was born May 21, 2009. All arrived by plane from Oklahoma from Sharon Nottingham's NOTZMO/NOTZ Kennels (www.corgis.biz). She has wonderful dogs and is a pleasure to deal with.

Nabisco arrived this evening to join Figg and Newton. She's a sweet and friendly pup who is terrorizing the other two for the moment. I am confident that they will become fast friends in no time.

Alfalfa

We lost our 16 year old corgi, Alfalfa, today. She was very old and had survived malignant melanoma for five years. She was deaf, almost blind and had arthritic hips, but until today, she still would wag her tail and had a healthy appetite. I am glad she lived long enough to enjoy Figg and Newton for a while. They made her a little younger and a little zippier for a few months.
