About Me:: My husband and I purchased Ace- our first corgi in 2004- he currently resides in West Virginia with my mother and father in-law. After my husband and I moved to Louisiana, we bought Annie in 06 from a couple in Baton Rouge. A few years later we bought Cooper from Beaumont, Texas and as of Easter 2009- we welcomed 5 new puppies to our family!

Corgi in West Virginia needs a home!

Dear Friends,

My two dogs had puppies last Easter and I kept one of the pups, on a recent trip home to West Virginia from Louisiana I found our puppy Scout what I thought was a very good home out in the country where he could run instead of cooped up in our home. I got a call today from the guy we gave him to and he said two dogs was too much work and that he was going to give him to the Humane Society - I will not allow this, I will either pay to have him shipped back to me or find him… Continue

Everyone that meets him immediately falls in love with him :) He is a little bigger than Mia and the rest of the corgis, but hopefully he'll slow down! He's really attached to me and follows me everywhere I go. He also loves to get as flat as possible.

I thought it was cute... some kids were playing with him and they asked if he was a police dog! :)

I'll see if I can find some recent pics and post them.

Speck's doing great! Although I was kinda liking his floopy ear, his second ear stood up this past Sunday :) He is definitely a character though. He also seems to have taken a liking to water. He'll go romping through some big puddles in the backyard after it rains. I went swimming with him and he sure is fast!

He did great last night.. slept all night with no accidents. I took him out at about 1am to use the bathroom and he just followed me out and back in. Mia loved playing with him last night also.. running all over the yard.

I'd love for you to come see him. I'll get in touch with you today to see when a good time is.

Lot's of brushing tho, and make sure if you sell it that you tell the new owner that the AKC says fluffies aren't supposed to be bred. It's sad but my breeder either did not know or did not tell me purposely. I had wanted a Corgi to breed, but was too uninformed about the standards. I'd never give Maggie up, so I have changed my plans to breed to sell. I'd still love to have puppies with her!
