About Me:: I'm a 27 year old woman from Denmark who's first dog is a wonderful Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Charlie. I live in a house with my boyfriend and my interest are music, singing, watching movies, books and of cause my dog.

About My Corgi(s):: Charlie is 1 year old and a Pembroke with a tail.(tail docking is not allowed in Denmark) We specifically wanted a dog with a tail. Not that typical for Pem owners. But in our opinion a dog needs its tail. Charlie shows his attentions and moods with his tails so we are happy that he has it:-)

Summer heat = loss of appetite ?

Charlie has almost finished changing to his summer clothes, but still the fury guy is feeling hot!!:-). He doesn't eat that much and of cause he can't walk that far. The loss of appetite irritates me a bit though. He gets his food twice a day but lately he only eats his "evening food" around midnight.. hmmm. Hopefully it is just the heat.??

We eventually gave up. We were fortunate to find a very serious corgi breeder whose dogs have wonderful temperaments -- we have two of hers -- but I am hoping that someday they will voluntarily abandon this docking thing. Who would want to take off a dog's tail after seeing something like this?:
