About My Corgi(s):
I have two corgis now - the Fabulous Norah Jones, my 10year old senior lady and baby Jean, 10mos this Dec. 2014. Norah Jones is a most awesome gal and I refer to her as my Guardian Angel because she is so sympathetic when we lose a member of our pack. She consoles me, truly. She was a gift to me and I am so grateful to have her!! Baby Jean was a gift too from her breeder because I lost Kenny, who was from the same breeder, to cancer this past winter after I titled him in Rally. Jean will someday follow in his paw steps and do Rally also. I have had two rescues this past two years and lost them to cancer also this past winter - it was a bad winter, really bad - all three of my loves went to the Rainbow Bridge within a 12 week period. Also, my Weimie, Mocha went to the Bridge this October. Other than all that sadness, I have Jean's training to look forward to sometime in the near future - right now I might have to have spine surgery - then on with the happy corgi days!!!

10 yr, female corgi needs forever home - no other dogs or children

Posted on December 3, 2013 at 3:14pm 2 Comments

Hi everyone - I haven't been on this site for a long time, however, I have a friend who needs to find a home for a 10 yr female corgi who hadn't adjusted to a new baby in the family.  This is sad, however, the corgi lived a live as the only companion to a woman for 5 yrs, then she married, and the corgi lost her position but was still a loved member of the pair, now a baby enters the world and the the corgi is 10yrs and has snapped (reason unknown) at the baby.  This sort of thing often…

Hi Sandi, I saw you were in North County & was hoping that you could recommend a great trainer familiar with Corgi behaviors... Finn is showing certain unwanted aggression behaviors that we need properly addressed. Thanks so much! *Carly

I'm confused, which is a normal state for me! Your profile mentions 2 Corgis but I count 3: Sophie, Kenny and NorahJones. Was your profile written before you got Sophie? From the photo, they all look similar. Are they all related? You do not look like a great-grandmother! I noticed that you are from Riverside, CA. Just wondering if you know anything about Rockstar Corgis from Riverside.

I love your dogs and the photos, esp. the one with the crocheted hat, and I usually don't like clothes on dogs. When you have a moment, tell me about Kenny and NorahJones. They're all beautiful.

You should upload those beautiful photos of your corgis onto your page. I'll try to send you Lucy's pedigree later.

You see the resemblance too with Sophie and Lucy! I'm glad. In 10 yrs. Sophie's had 3 owners. I'm so happy that you found each other. It looks like she's exactly where she's supposed to be. She's so beautiful and still looks so young. Your other corgis, Kenny and NorahJones are beautiful too. Do you know their pedigrees? They all look very familiar to me. Most of my corgis are from N. CA, and I had litter-mates from a great NY breeder, Blandie and Maitland Ijams, of Roughhouse Corgis. I have always loved Nebriowa Corgis and Tim is just an outstanding breeder and person. I am a huge fan of his. He also did some Nebriowa breedings with another favorite breeder of mine, Judy Hart, back when she was in N. CA. She's now in TN (Sua Mah). I'll try to send you a copy of Lucy's pedigree to your mycorgi inbox. I'm so happy to meet you. I look forward to seeing more pictures of your beautiful corgis and your weimaraner, too.

OMG, I just looked at your photo of Sophie and she's a ringer for our Lucy who's 5 yo. For years I fibbed about Lucy's age because I wanted to keep her young forever. But if she looks half as fabulous as Sophie at 10, I'll be a happy camper. We flew to Tim's and got Lucy at 10wks. Sophie definitely looks like "family." I wonder if any of Sophie's litters produced Lucy's sire or dam. I showed my husband Sophie's photo and he thought it was Lucy! Sophie also looks a lot like some of my other Corgis, as I always go for the same type, except for Ricky, who's in a league of his own, haha. We rescued him at 16 wks. I'll attach a few photos of Lucy to see if you think there's a resemblance. Sophie also reminds me of my Sua Mah girls. Who are the other beautiful Corgis in your profile photo? All seem to have lovely expression & flashy whilte collar that I love so!

Thats really cute! =) We took Shockoe out to the beach once. He was obsessed with digging in the sand and getting as muddy as possible. Once he saw the water though it was swim swim swim from then on. We cant wait to take him back out when it warms up.
