Our route of Sept. 2009 was completely in fog, by map & compass, until we reached the ridge at upper-right. After that, we were in a rock island on a sea of clouds, one of the most thrilling climbing experiences.
Fortress Mt., 8700'. For Washington,that's a pretty big peak. Glacier Peak Wilderness, Washington Cascades.

Your dogs are also fitter than most dogs! They sure have a great life...maybe you could start a corgi camp for all the corgi mountain climber "wanna be" I can only imagine the great experience for both man and dog!
