Early summer snow hiking.
Glacier Basin, Monte Cristo. Easy going, 3" of mush-on-crust. A 12-hr. day; back to car at 10 PM.

WOW...must be nice to be able to walk in snow and not have 5 layers on to keep warm! Lovely pic! You know if you lost a corgi in this and only the tip of their tail was sticking out it wouldn't do much good in finding them!
