About My Corgi(s):
My amazing and precious muse-Boychik-will be 11 in March.We adopted him a few years ago (as an adult) and he has become the love of my life. A sweet baby Cardi girl is coming at the end of January. Her name is Meydele and each day is sooo long waiting for her arrival.
I noticed that your other boy is "Boychik". That is so funny! Whenever I had a lot of corgis running around and I needed to corral them (up to 6 or 7 at a time) their group name has always been "Boycheks"! They know to coming running to that. How is Maydele doing? Owen is settling in fine -very vocal, but the other dog Willie still doesn't want to go anywhere near him.
How is your new girl? Our boy was shaking and exhausted. His name WAS ZACK - if you look a the photo on coedwig litters page http://www.coedwig.com/litters.html - he is the one on the right with the tongue out. His name is OWEN now. Very sweet. He's actually my ex's new puppy - we live a mile from each other and still share all the dogs. We are having a bit of an issue with the current cardi - also form Leda, who is not "adaptable" . So for now we are keeping them separate and letting Owen settle in first.
Hi Beth - We're waiting for a puppy from Leda as well today - off to a rought start with the weather, but he's in flight and has to make a connection in Dallas (ugh) and then on to Denver. Can't wait! I hope yours has arrived today. Ours is "Owen" -Anne
We will have sisters ;). My Friday (on my site) is a Thunder daughter, just like your little girl. In fact, all my dogs will be related to yours, but none quite that close. I have always loved Suzie, your baby's mom, so I will be very excited to see what your little girl turns out to be!
Hi Beth,
My cardigan is from Coedwig, but from the Portand (Kim Shira) side. I have 2 from the Arkansas and 2 from Kim in Portland. Do you or does anyone you know, know of other really good breeders of blue merles?
