- Stubbs was the original hairy monster (10/2001 - 9/2008), and he lives on in our hearts everyday. We loved all things about his Corgi nature, including his energy, tenacity, and affection. We made a very difficult decision for him after being diagnosed with chylothorax that was not responding to multiple procedures. We felt like we had lost a child, such a significant part of our life. It was years before we could fathom thinking about getting a new furbaby.
Fast forward 5 years, and we have just gotten a new tri Pembroke, named Jagger! He, too, is full of energy, sometimes crazy silly, but always affectionate and loveable. Everyone immediately falls in love with him. We are enjoying our second Corgi, and know that there's likely more to come!

We have a Corgi with a fantastic appetite. I know that's not news to Corgi owners, but when we're at the park discussing dog issues, seems to be surprise to other pup parents.
I feed 4oz (1/2 cup; or about 1/3 regular sized can) of wet food and 1/2 cup scoop of dry food each day. Wet food in the morning and dry food in the evening has cut down on his bad breath! He does get a fair amount of treats each day (bully sticks, Greenies, other training treats)
