- Lost my darling Bessie to leukemia in November 2009. Sweetest girl ever. And this past July, Miss Rascal succumbed to a spinal condition after a year and 1/2 decline. She was the smartest dog I have ever known and the most loving. She took her herding very seriously!! (A Sua Mah dog!) They were both fourteen. Now I am beginning to come out of my dogless funk and thinking about another one to brighten my world.

Welcome Cynthia to mycorgi. I am so sorry to learn of your losses of Bessie and Rascal. How hard to lose both within a year. I had 2 beautiful Sua Mah girls, Annie and Maggie. I posted photos of them in the group Corgis Remembered. They were wonderful. I'm glad you've found this site. I hope it helps you recover. I hope it helps knowing that your corgis had long lives with lots of love.
