About Me:: We have a 12 year old tri-colored female Pembroke, Lady Toots (AKC registered...7 litters...before we became owners) and a 1 year old red and white female Pembroke, Taloula Belle (spayed right before her 1st birthday).

About My Corgi(s):: We have a 12 year old tri-colored female Pembroke, Lady Toots (AKC registered...7 litters...before we became owners) and a 1 year old red and white female Pembroke, Taloula Belle (spayed right before her 1st birthday).

Lady Toots, a.k.a Tootsie, is a mean spirited old pup. She does not get along with other dogs at all. She is a retired breeding dog that enjoys retirement to the fullest. She loves to sing with her owners and can't wait until meal time! Toots loves to mark around the neighborhood and "wipes her paws" when done using the restroom. Tootsie was our first pet together as a couple and we couldn't have asked for a greater pet! Tootsie prefers snuggles from my husband and doesn't really enjoy kissing "mom". Tootsie knows how to speak and will do so on command. Tootsie is ok friends with the husky in the back yard and they seem to tolerate each other. Tootsie likes to poop in public...as she is our little voyeur...She also likes to "poop into the wind", as we see on walks! Tootsie is a very small corgi and we had a breeder's son ask if she was a "mini corgi". We do not know if this is the case but she is very petite!

Taloula Belle, a.k.a, Toula, is a happy go luck pup! She loves getting her paws muddy and finding adventure! Toula is smart and is developing a secure attachment with myself and my husband. Toula LOVES snuggles and is always quick to give a kiss! Toula likes to play "get your paws" and has yet to find her "voice" in our household. We hear her barking when we are not paying attention to her but when we say "speak",...nothing...
Taloula Belle is very smart and has already mastered "paw", "high five", "dance", and "roll over"...we are working on "speak"!

We had quite a scare tonight. Tootsie had a very large and swollen tummy. She drank a lot of water and then urinated a bunch on her walk. Brian thought something was up but he kept trying to put it to the back of his mind and tried to make himself think that he was over reacting. Tootsie came in from her walk and was lying on the floor. Brian rubbed her tummy and heard a sound that was similar to Toots passing gas. He looked down and frantically called for me. Tootsie was bleeding…
