What types of tricks have you taught your corgis?

Started by Lilo Bandit & Koda's mom Shannon May 21. 0 Replies

Mine do pretty much the standard tricks. Once you have more than two corgis the individualized attention is a bit harder to make time for, so my poor Koda really only knows how to sit, lol!Bandit can…Continue

I'm so sorry Shannon about your loss, some times like in children, they could be an extrange immune delay response to it, I have heard of some vaccines in humans doing that, I know it doesn't make…Continue

When does your corgi talk the most?

My Wynn always says" good morning" and will talk very politely while sitting next to me if I'm eating on the couch! Wynn knows better than to bark so we just talk back and forth and if he's…Continue

Sheldon & Gertie will lay in the floor facing each other and carry on a conversation for 10 minutes, they get kind of loud at times but I think it's hilarious.

We all need to get some videos loaded of all of our sweet talkers! Taught Bandit to 'whisper' when I was bored a few weeks ago... He seems to be increasing his talking rather than barking now.

Daisy is a talker! When she wants some more food, she wags her tail furiously (not much tail to wag though lol) and woofs quietly and deeple. When I tell her walk, she starts howling with joy and running all over the yard.

Our Jack boy is a huge talker. He always "meets and greets". When outside chasing his football, he will give me a whoo whoo as if to say this is fun dad , kick it some more.

My corgi Korey says things like "hello" "how are you" and "where were you" when I come home. XD She also knows how to say "out" when she wants out. She's hilarious.

I'm back from my Hiatus... :) I will definitely have to get Lilo and Bandit on video. Bandit doesnt do as much talking... he has learned that he gets rewarded for barking though when I ask him to 'speak'... lol

Eddie's very vocal. When he greets me in the mornings it sounds like he's trying to purr. He barks quite a bit, too. In fact, that's the first thing he did when I met him. He took one look at me, barked, and I knew I had to have him. He'll back-sass me when I talk to him. I sometimes think I should have named him Echo. What do you expect from a dog who's parents were named Radar and Sonar? Heehee.

Please capture Lilo, on video, greeting you in the morning. We'd all love to see it.

Long time no talk everyone! I have been taking some time to myself after Rowdy and Gidget passed away from Parvo on St. Patricks Day. Lilo pulled through without ever getting sick, she has become my little sidekick, just following me everywhere.
When I first got her, I already had Rowdy and Gidget, so we never got a lot of one on one time, so I feel like I am just now really getting to know her at 10 months old.
She never used to 'talk' until recently.
When we get up in the morning she talks so much, I Love it! Its like she's telling me how excited she is for the day to begin.
I'll have to capture it on video!
I love to hear everyones stories of their talking pups! I have never witnessed another breed that 'talks' in the same manner that so many corgi's do.
