About Me:
My name is Meredith (Mere) and I am 23 years old. I graduated from Winona State University in 2012 with a Psychology degree. I grew up with a Corgi named Foxy ever since I was 3. I think that they are the greatest dogs :) Foxy died at age 10 from some kind of stomach disease. I was 12 years old. A year later we got Angel & Holly, my cutie pies right now! They make me smile :) I love Corgis!!!!

My Corgis names are Angel & Holly. They are adorable. :)
They are sisters from the same litter. Angel is the runt. She was already named when we got her & Holly wasn't. I picked Holly because it went cute with Angel (no, they are not Christmas pups!). Angel is an angel - she listens, follows you everywhere & is so cute. Holly can be a little devil most days - she barks at anything & everything, she chases animals outside, she doesn't listen when you tell her to come inside, & she likes to find mischief. She can be very spoiled as well & likes to be petted constantly if she sits still near you long enough. They both sleep with me in my bed :)

the other night i told holly to go lie down in her bed and pointed at it from across the living room. she immediately walked across the room and passed out in her bed. what a smart corgi!!

Hot Spots?

Angel had a hot spot last summer and had to get it shaved and get medicine from the vet. I'm pretty sure Holly has one now and will be taking her to the vet tomorrow. Does anyone know what really causes hot spots??

both of my corgis were overweight and over the past couple years they have each lost 10 pounds thanks to their diet food!! and now they are in great shape :)

my corgis have one of those balls you put treats in and then they push it around and the treats fall out. whenever one of them has it the other is afraid to try to steal it away... or they'll get growled at. haha. it is entertaining to watch. they need to learn how to share!

Snow Corgis!!

Just spent over an hour shoveling the driveway and back patio. My 2 Corgis were out running around in the snow. One loved being thrown into a huge pile of snow - queen of the mountain - the other was terrified! haha :)

It's easy to take too many photos, but it's hard to edit them. Less is more. I keep trying to remove photos and remind myself that less is more! <grin>

I had litter mates that couldn't be more opposite, but one member thought they were identical twins, which can happen with dogs. LOL, they weren't.If you ever have time to see my photos (WAY TOO MANY)...or go to Corgis Remembered group, you'll find photos of Dylan and Emily. They looked much more similar as puppies. I really need to delete most of my photos. When there are too many, "you can't see the forest for the trees."
