- Schatzi is the sweetest little puppy and makes my day, every day :) She is smart and sneaky, and enjoys being outside, bounding across open spaces, digging holes, eating everything but vegetables, and doing the penguin dance. She does not go down stairs. She will be your new best friend the second you meet her :)

- And think about all the comic books you can read to Shatzi in your free time! My dgt. Lindsay was also interested in patent law, intellectual property. She too is not artistic, yet it never stopped from dreaming about being a dress designer when she was little. She's now a 2nd year associate in a large firm doing real estate and land use. She found that the real estate people in her two summer internships were the loosest and most fun. I can't wait to hear more about your summer. It sounds perfect to me, esp. the part-time part! ; )

- PS Thanks for your words about my 2 crazy guys. They are a well-needed break from the stress of the real world. Kudos for you for getting an internship that sounds a little different. When you ever have time between school and your puppy, I'd love to know what you'll be doing in your internship. Whatever it is, it just sounds different from the legal hum-drum. Good for you!

- Having seen Schatzi's photos, she's is already a new friend. Nothing like a Corgi! You're both beautiful! Welcome. What year of law school are you in? My dgt. just finished her 1st yr as an associate in LA––and is still alive.
