Hi Jane I'm having problems leaving comments or sending e-mails.  I wanted to share with you some information from my holistic vet about natural healing oils.  Could you try to send me an e-mail here or at t_lcerny@yahoo.com.  I think you would be very interested!  I'm not trying to sell anything I just want to share some info!!

thanks Jane! Mr Mike says, "why the vinegar?" "I like my shampoo!!" It's only 6 below this morning! (was supposed to be even more below, so this is a heat wave) Anyway, what is he doing thinking of cleaning carpets?! He needs to go work in the pole barn, oh yeah, it's not heated!

Carol...long time no see! I just cleaned 4 full carpets...mine are getting older and the dogs have certainly helped wear them out but I sure like it! I use maybe 1-2 cups in my water chamber! Smells like vinegar for a bit but that's better than many things!

Jane and Hana-are you cleaning a whole room with vinegar and water, or just spot cleaning?? With Lucky's incontinence, I have been spot cleaning with BioOx and Mike is thinking of cleaning the living room again. (it's 15 degrees out, and he wants to clean carpets, the man needs to go to work!!) How much are you dilluting the vinegar? I suppose I could look it up in a book, but I am very lazy. Boy, I have not been on mycorgi for a LONG time. Me thinks I have been cleaning carpets!!!!

Hana-Did you find the washing soda? Christy- I used vinegar and water for my carpets today:) So much better than all those smelly chemicals:) I know people don't like the vinegar smell either but I'll take that anytime:)

I love vinegar! It works well on dog bowl to get water lines out too! I just got a recipe for dishwasher detergent also...I will try it and post it if it turns out well!

Hi Guys,
I recently used a 1/2 cup of vinager in my bissel (no soap) and it worked great!! It took out the shampoo residue and made my carpet soft. I was kinda leary about this when my mom said she read it in a magazine but she did it with no ill effects to her carpet so I gave it a try also..I'll def. be doing this again =)
