- We got a Corgi for our first dog after months of picking a breed. We both fell in love with them the more we learned about them and after moving into our first home we got Brewer! Brewer was almost 3 yrs old when we got Lilly! his half sister.

My Gem is mostly red and white but she is actually registered as a sable, guess she has just enough black around her mouth and one little spec of gray in her stump! Maybe her tail was black???? That would've been cute!! Anyway yes, they do lighten up quite a bit!!!!!
