Thanks for the support. I lost my dear Springer of 14 years last November. Aren't they the sweetest? We've since brought home a rescue Springer, which really helps balance the corgi intensity around here. But I'm not sure he's smart enough to be governor like the corgi. Then again, maybe so.

oh,my gosh!! walter is adorable. tell us about him.where is he from and how old and anything else you might want to tell us. what made you get a corgi, anything.  don't worry, your other one will start playing with him. sometimes it just takes a little longer for some to warm up to the new addition. and also remember, your other dog looks at walter as the puppy he is and may not feel real confident about rough housing yet. give him time and always include the lab in walter's every day doings. oh, welcome to the group.
