LOL, you'll know your Corgi's personality quite well after your 200 mile trip. But, kudos to you for choosing the best breed. We surprised our daughters, many years ago, with Corgi litter-mates for Xmas, after losing our beloved Corgi months before. Containing excitement is very hard. Enjoy every minute with your new baby!

I'll try to post a picture of our Xmas gift: Dylan & Emily. I'm so excited for you and your family. There are few things that compare to a Corgi puppy!

Ah! Thank you so much for the warm welcome, it's lovely to hear about your Corgis too! I can't wait to collect him, I've been out today getting things for him & my eldest has become a little suspicious so I had to tell a little fib & say it was for Nanny & Grandads dog :) I can't wait, they will be so pleased & I'm so looking forward to welcoming him into his new home. I am confused about feeding tho- I've read that raw diet is the best but I didn't know how much to feed & how often & what the best us, I'd be truly grateful for any help you guys can give :) I just want make sure I do the best by him. Also what is the best type of lead? Would harness be ok as my mums dig loves his harness and walks along happily  xx

Welcome Jo and congratulations! How exciting! I don't blame you for having a hard time keeping it secret. My daughter knew my husband and I were driving (only 100 miles for us) to get a corgi while she was at school, but we were supposed to be picking up Riley. We ended choosing his brother Sidney instead. When she called us to ask if we were bringing Riley home, we said, no, we decided not to get Riley. Imagine her surprise when we still showed up to pick her up at school with a corgi, but with Sidney instead! She was SO happy!
