Smelly dog farts...

Posted on February 21, 2009 at 1:15am 12 Comments

Ok, so Monster has the foulest smelling gas i've ever had to endure. Is this a corgi thing or a Monster thing? We feed him good, healthy food. I mean, one time it actually made me vomit. I know this is kind of a gross blog post but i don't hold much back. This is actually pretty modest. I am just curious... Do all corgis have horrible potent smelling farts?

Monster is doing so much better! He is back to his normal fun loving self! We are so happy to have him back. Yesterday was heart breaking! =( Right now he is chewing on a bone and watching Spongebob! Thanks for all of your concerns and advice!

Monster just had his one year check up. He has silly veins so the doctor had to dig around for them. He was a champ! He did sooo good getting his blood taken and getting his medicine injections. Everything was fine until about 2 hours ago and now he feels bad. :( He cries if you try to pick him up or touch his hips and he is so tired! He's been sleeping since we got home. He didn't even greet Chase when he came home for dinner or get up for a cookie, so we knew something was wrong. I hope he… Continue

Hello! Sorry I haven't responded! I don't get on too much lately.

I got Kahlua in Whitesboro, TX (near Denton and Mckinney area), from Bill Hedges (903-870-6538). He and his wife are really great! Not a puppy mill at all. He uses puppy money for his grandkids' college funds!

I haven't heard of any Corgi meetings yet. Sometimes there are one or two of them at the dog park, but that's the closest I've seen!

Thank you! I loves my dog! Unfortunately, I have not heard of any Oklahoma corgi meetings. =( I would LOVE for Butters to play with other corgi's! Maybe we should make a corgi get together group or something, and see how many people join? I don't know though. Monster reminds me of my Butters! He is cute!!!!

Hello from Darien,IL, your Monster is a beauty and the name I would bet more than fits his personalty.
Not one day goes by without my wife and I calling our Corgi a monster.

OMGosh, I swore that if we ended up with a male, we'd name him Monster, so I completely understand, yay!

Bertie actually likes TV a little too much. He can be several rooms away, but if he hears music he recognizes (usually the theme song in a commercial), he'll rush in to bark at animals on the screen. Then my little pup, Ethel, starts leaping about and barking too -- she doesn't know why, she just enjoys the mayhem. Really, we could have a reality TV show....about dogs watching TV!

Jordan - thanks for your compliments on our crazy blue - Luna. she is quite cute, and believe me she knows it. I see you're interested in a blue - so i left a message for you on your post, but feel free to email me for more info - there is also a group called the blue crew that could be of help to you. Monster looks like a great dog! Cutie, too!
