Corgi lover! I also love to go geocaching and Daisy is my official Caching Corgi! Scout is in training. ;)
Welsh Corgi Breeder?
About My Corgi(s):
Daisy is a red and white female born on 12/20/09 and our new pup, Scout is a tri male born November 14, 2011. I didn't know what I was getting into with these corgis and have completely fallen for them!! I definitely have Obsessive Corgi Disorder and I am proud of it! Daisy and I have been doing agility since April 2011 and LOVE IT!!!
Our old dog Jessie died October 2011 and we still miss her terribly. :'( She was a true Heinz 57 but I think she had some corgi in her somewhere. She was such a sweet dog and the reason I wanted to get a corgi.
"Hello corgi peeps! The dog club I am affiliated with is hosting an agility trial this weekend at Jack Brooks Park in Hitchcock. If you are interested please come out and watch. Scout will be running for his first time in a trial too. That is sure to…"
"Hi all! We have been busy lately and out of the loop on meet-ups. We are going to be at the Bay Area Dog Park Saturday, 2/16 (tomorrow) morning. We'd love it if anyone could meet up with us. Here is a link to a map of the park:…"
"Anytime Friday to Sunday would probably work for me. I will have to visit some family one of those days but I can work around that. :) I wish we could meet this weekend but we are going camping and won't be back until Tuesday night."
"Hi Manda and Molly! We are in Friendswood and would love to meet up too. Will you guys be in town Thanksgiving weekend? We could meet at the Bay Area Park next weekend sometime. We also have a little fenced in park at the entrance to my subdivision…"

4 Paws Kingdom was a lot of fun. Everything there is set up for the safety and comfort of the dogs. The owners have 2 Corgis, so we got the royal treatment. My husband and I don't own an RV, so we drove there in our car and rented the RV. They also have cabins, but they are smaller than the RVs. The 8 dog parks include one with a pond, one with agility, another with rally, small dog park, etc.
Asheville is a little over an hour away. Very dog friendly, but you can't take them into the Biltmore Mansion. Luckily, my husband and I had been there about 5 years ago, so we didn't go there this time. 4 Paws also will walk your dog (for a fee) if you are going to be gone all day, so you could check out the Biltmore. Well worth it.
That would be a LONG drive for you, however. Texas to NC... about 16 hours!
We drove 10 1/2 hours. We did it in 2 days and planned stops at dog parks along the way. We planned the whole vacation around the dogs!
