I'm hoping to hear from anyone whose corgi has injured a front elbow and whether it became an ongoing intermittent problem or if it never came back.  Several weeks ago Poppy was doing that 'racing…Continue

Submissive? or just likes tummy rubs?

I'm a new corgi owner and I love this web site.  Is there some nice person out there who could tell me how to create my avatar and how to put photos on my page?   When I'm in 'MY Page' I don't see…Continue

twisted front elbow

I'm hoping to hear from anyone whose corgi has injured a front elbow and whether it became an ongoing intermittent problem or if it never came back.  Several weeks ago Poppy was doing that 'racing back and forth' thing that corgis sometimes do, on the livingroom carpet.  She squealed and held up a front paw so I rushed her to the doggy emergency room and they said if she rapidly improved over the next day it was a soft tissue injury and she wouldn't need xrays.  By the time we got home she…See More

"Could be either; my fairly submissive Corgi girl flips over for tummy rubs at the drop of a hat. But then again, my parents' extremely dominant Chessie also rolls over for tummy rubs, just because she likes them. Showing a tummy to another dog…"

Submissive? or just likes tummy rubs?

I have the most wonderful 3 1/2 month Pembroke (got her at 8 weeks) and I can't figure out if she's submissive or just loves tummy rubs.  She has always loved running up to people and dogs (no matter how big) when we are out on our twice daily walks and bounces around on the dogs, tries to jump up to bog dog's noses, etc. but eventually she always ends up on her back.  Especially with people, she just flops over right away and lies there smiling at them.  I thought maybe since she gets so much…See More

Hi Kathy, you would just have our picture under your friends on your profile page and in turn I would also have your picture on mine. It is just a quick reference for you/me to click on your picture and go directly to your profile page. I try and friend everyone I can find in Mn who have corgis on this site. It is up to you and I won't be offended if you would rather not. Melissa
