my 14 week old corgi will not stop biting us. we've tried yiping, and she gets even more excited. we've tried ignoring her, and she doesnt care. we've tried thumping her on the nose and saying no, but she thinks were playing. weve tried squirting her with water, but she likes it. i know she's teething right now, and everyone says they grow out of it, but is there any way we can get her to understand that she is not allowed to bite us?

Getting cute. I like the peanut butter idea for sure.
Hello Sister!!
Our trainer said that pups get bored with Kongs that aren't a challenge. Imp. to fill to the max. before freezing. Squash it down and have assorted foods in each.
There are other interactive toys that they have to move around to get to the kibble. They helped a lot with Ricky when he was impossible, which lasted way too long. But, he's our lover boy now. We are just crazy about him now. Earlier on, he just made us craaaazy!
Re. your puppies biting, I just read a member's comment about something else, but I think it might work great with your puppy:
Jennifer Markley suggested putting peanut butter. I have no idea what this was in reference to, but it seemed great for you. Put a smear of peanut butter on your arm or hand and your puppy will learn to lick. Reward the licking (instead of biting) with praise.
Use the same word to reinforce licking not biting that you're comfortable using. One word like "good lick" or something like that. Give it a try and let me know. Hope your puppy doesn't lick off all the peanut butter and then bite your hand or arm for more. Teething seems like an eternity. But it does end. Also, have you tried tiny kong stuffed with peanut butter, diced cheddar cheese, cottage cheese, kibble? Mash it all in as tightly as you can and freeze. That should keep your puppy busy. Someone else, forget who, Yuki maybe, suggested wringing out a wet washcloth and freezing it. Also frozen bagels will keep your pup busy. Keep us posted!
Lacey, she is just adorable. I wish my baby was still little but they get bigger.
