If there are other dogs in the house let them meet outside on mutual ground so there are no territorial issues. If she's just been spayed you'll want her want her to take it easy. If she is crate trained make sure her crate is set up as a comfort zone and no jumping or running until the stitches are dissolved/removed. She'll do just fine.

That's fun that she's the sibling pf your parent's Corgi. My Mom owns Finn's half brother. They have the same Dad and he is a year older than Finnigan. They act like normal brothers and adore each other. :)
