Started out with German Shepherds 20 yrs. ago, showed in obedience and just enjoyed them; switched to Corgis when we got Abbey in 2000; now have 3 Corgis including one magical fluff (Sofie Marie) and one male Cruiser. Love training in obed., tracking and herding. Retired from IBM in 1996 to spend more time with dogs; now work PT in vet's office to support my dog/show habit. Born in Ind. but lived in several different states before retirement. Married 52 years to High School sweetheart who supports me in dog activities.
Welsh Corgi Breeder?

About My Corgi(s):
Sweet, sweet, intelligent (too intelligent for me). Abbey earned her obed. Utility title in 3 consecutive shows which is VERY unusual; she earned her UDX (Utility Dog Excellent) in 9 mos. and is now retired and does tracking and extra loving. She is my 'heart' dog and first Corgi; Sofie Marie is our Fluff Extraordinaire. and therapy dog. She has her CD in obed. but prefers to stay home with Dad. Cruiser is one major short of his Championship and has started training in obedience, tracking and herding for the FUN stuff. Can't imagine life without them! Corgis are the BEST!
Thank you everyone for the welcome I have received from the members and the comments on my pictures. I loved seeing all your pictures too. Yes, the Corgis do keep me busy and I like it that way. I can't imagine life without them. They make me laugh, they keep me active and because of them and our training, I always have a new goal or title to reach for. We lost our son last year during this holiday season. Throughout this past year, the Corgis have also been my therapy dogs.
Welcome Linda, Abbey, Sophie Marie and Cruiser! Wow they do keep you busy! We intended to get Sidney into agility, but got sidetracked into therapy work instead. Your pups are so beautiful, and you have some really nice photos too :)
