LOOKOUT FARM - CORGI CRAZY

Profile Information

Hometown:
Hillsboro
About Me:
Owner of Lookout Farm - dedicated breeder of Corgis for over nine years. Also have quarter horses and compete reguarly in barrel races in Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia. I focus of breeding healthy, happy Corgis for families and concentrate of raising puppies with plenty of TLC, fresh air and sunshine in a terrific Corgi environment. I never dreamed I would be raising any kind of puppies but I fell in love Corgis and after several struggles to find good breeders decided that there should be a great place for families to meet them. Lookout Farm is a fun and clean place to come and visit. All moms and dads are on-site and visitors are welcome to come and visit with the hoodlums.

About My Corgi(s):
Most of my Corgis are a little on the small size (16 - 20 pounds) because I prefer "lap size" Corgis- mine always seem to be sitting in the rocking chair with me. Our farm is perimeter fenced so all of my Corgis run loose while I am doing the barn chores and riding horses. I keep thinking how great it would be if I could teach them to clean stalls. They bring me joy and happiness everyday. I enjoy placing my puppies with families and after nine years know to tell first time Corgi owners that they will probably have to have more than one!! All of my puppies come with lots of Corgi-tude, full AKC registration, puppy kit and written one year health guarantee. Manners are not included! I post lots and lots of pictures on my website - check it out! New puppies are here!!
I have:
Pembroke

Lookout Farm - Corgi Rescue for Tennessee????

Posted on March 30, 2009 at 6:30pm 0 Comments

Over the past couple of weeks I have had two families contact me looking for safe homes for their beloved young male Corgis (one is one of my pups that was purchased last year). Sometimes life changes and a Corgi no longer fits our plan. Sugar Bear and Paddington both come from loving homes and need to go to Corgi-loving homes. Please send me a email at lookoutfarm@gmail.com if anyone is looking for a little guy to love.

Many states are FINALLY adopting 3 year rabies vaccination standard (that is how long the rabies vaccination your dog gets every year is good for)!!! Check out RabiesChallengeFund.org and sign up to receive email updates at ledgespring@lincoln.midcoast.com. Tennessee is 3 years now - YEAH!!!!!

Bailey's Surprise Puppies

Posted on March 11, 2009 at 7:00pm 2 Comments

My first time momma Bailey was due for her pups Friday at the earliest. I moved her to the Nursery on Tuesday (just so she would have time to settle in). Much to my surprise on Wedesday (5 am before work) I open the door to say "Hello" and hear PUPPIES!!! Needless to say I had to call off work and stay home to help with puppies - she had 3 when I found her and ended up with 8 - all are doing great. Way to go… Continue

JoJo - Finally a Forever Family!!!

Posted on January 28, 2009 at 2:36pm 3 Comments

Just wanted to thank everyone for thinking of us. JoJo's new family drove 5 hours to pick her up last week and she is already the "queen" of the house. Her new mom is retired and her new dad (who is not a dog "lover") is her new most favorite person in the world. She is already well on her way to converting him to a CORGI LOVER!!!!!

JoJo - 8 year old female Corgi Looking for Lifetime Home

Posted on January 15, 2009 at 6:00pm 4 Comments

JoJo is a personable, sweet and hard headed alpha tri-colored Corgi female. She has been living inside with my dad but he is going into assisted living and can't care for her anymore. She would be happy in a inside/outside home that is very low key - her favorite games are "rub my belly" or "I'll sit on your lap"!!! She loves to take walks or would be happy on a farm (as long as she is a house dog). Kids are okay but she would probably prefer a more… Continue
