I know. It's pretty hilarious watching our corgis hold their toys in their front paws while lying on their back. I must have dozens of photos of Lucy in that position. It's those short, chubby legs that made me get my first corgi when I was a teenager. Isn't it funny how unique we think our corgis are, only to see so many corgis on this site doing the exact same thing! Lucy also runs in circles like a Sheltie, until we open the door to the outside. Clearly, there's a relationship between the quirkiness (polite word!) of corgi owners and their choice of this breed.
@Mark - It's all their silly stuff that make Corgis so great, incl. their weird sleeping habits. When my mom saw our first corgi lying on his back with all fours up, she thought he was dead! LOL.
Haha! I was leaving a comment for ♥Deborah and saw your note about your Corgi driving you nuts. Welcome to the club! As if 3 teenagers aren't enough. ; ) We raised all of our kids with pairs of Pembrokes, and wouldn't have it any other way. Our kids pretty much know that they are not allowed to own any breed except a Corgi! Yet, I have 2 now that make me craaaazy. Corgi-kabobs!
Thank you. They helped with yard work today. I would create piles of leaves and they would jump into them and roll all over. Everytime I tried to catch them to put them in the house, they thought I was playing and would jump into another pile. I give up!!!! LOL
