- I just got my first corgi puppy and I am so in love with her! I just finished my bachelor's degree in MIS and hopefully with be pursuing a career in consulting or web design. I live with my boyfriend and someday we hope to NOT live in an apartment and have more corgis!

- Her name is Freya and she is a pembroke welsh corgi. She has the sweetest personality but gets vocal if you dont give her attention or food. We currently live on a 3rd story apartment and she handles it well but she has enough energy for a nice yard to play in someday! She likes to think that her leash is a toy for tug of war and don't even think about giving her a toy that isnt rock hard and made to be chewed.

Accidents when at friends house

Everyone is so helpful with these new puppy adventures! Thank you! Now I have a question about accidents that Freyja has only when I visit a specific friend. My friend has 2 dogs on a part time basis & Freyja will poop on my friends floor no matter how many times I take her outside. It's happened regardless of whether my friends dogs were there or not. It's never pee, always poop. The house has all new carpet & is newly renovated. Is this a dominance thing?
Doesn't want her puppy food!

So Freyja used to be a very eager puppy about meal time. I feed her 2/3 of a cup of Blue Buffalo puppy food twice a day and she would be so excited as soon as I set down her food bowl. Something has all of a sudden changed! She really has no interest in her puppy food and wont even touch her food bowl until it has been sitting there for a few hours. We have tried to sprinkle cheese on top to get her interested but then she only eats the cheese. Should I attempt to try another puppy food?…

Freyja is a lover of all! She loves other dogs, cats, people, kids, everything! I love this about her but it is difficult to get her to focus when I am trying to take her outside. We live in a large apartment complex so there are people constantly coming and going. Thank god for the leash or she would be gone! I took her to work with me one day and I attempted to have her walk with me inside the building. She had her own agenda and took off on me. I know not to chase her or she will think…
